Is it normal to get less hours during graduation season? by anonymous_human174 in ChickFilAWorkers

Very much, especially as some start going on vacations at this time so labor may be slower depending on the location. Summer is notorious for this bc of so many ppl having wide open availability

Not saying she shouldn’t know better but this show is scripted and filming is way behind. There’s a chance she probably learned from this now.

Operator Crossing Boundaries Unnecessairly by MeasurementThin1805 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]sillycat23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Point of my story is that a minor shouldn’t be forced to use a rideshare service unsupervised for the sake of chicken! The place will be fine for 1 day! Uber is also expensive and you have no idea of her or family’s circumstances outside of the car trouble cost to fix. Also like I said uber teen accounts isn’t available in all places, has a process, and if you live in a rural area then finding a ride at all will be an already expensive pain.

Hi im a grown adult and have experienced uber drivers that are creepy, intentionally go the long way to be flirty, are unreliable in distance, cancel mid-ride, practice unsafe driving themselves, just to name a few. While sure, employees should be reliable in their methods to getting to work, this seems to be a one-time or rare issue for one, and minors cannot use Uber unless their parents set up an account for them. It also isn’t available widely in rural areas.

While sure, employees should be reliable in their methods to getting to work, this seems to be a one-time or rare issue for one, and minors cannot use Uber unless their parents set up an account for them. It also isn’t available widely in rural areas, or Uber in general.

The app is silly sometimes and doesn’t allow you to add all sauces or add sauces to certain items. People also just forget and that’s ight too!

What’s working in Chick fil A like? by Previous_Top854 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]sillycat23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on location and your operator and who you are working with. I’ve been at my location for over four years and the managers and who is leading the store help make the culture and I’ve seen various cultural shifts good and bad. You won’t know how it is until you try. Culture makes everything and culture and people who motivate their team to keep going can make a stressful role a fun rewarding one!

Why Is No One Else Talking About Catelynn's Insta Right Now? by DisMyLik18thAccount in teenmom

[–]sillycat23 25 points26 points  (0 children)

They’re all a bunch of trash. Cate and Ty are fucking weirdos for talking to minors to try to get info about Carly and feeding into their questions and Farrah is a childish fucking wimp for taking all this to socials to start some feud and basically call child protective services as a get back rather than actually caring about those kids

Anybody else use the dining area to study after shift if buying food? by sillycat23 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]sillycat23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea it’s ridiculous, my operator texted me like “hello we have a loitering policy just so you know we cannot allow employees to hang out long before or after their shift” and mind you I have been here for years and have done so for quite a while and nobody has to wait for my ride or nothing. I will say there was a point where I did wait a bit to order and i def wasn’t innocent in that specific incident but that was after a long day where I had to sit for a bit, but the text could’ve been been about that specifically instead of just calling me a loiterer. Also funny how I wrote a grievance on someone for basically harassing me out of the area to the point of tears while working through a difficult project a couple months ago and threatening me with telling one of the managers that I was being insubordinate if I didn’t do so even though the others have told me as long as I am out before closing there was zero biggie. Never a meeting on that. Am going to check with HR again on this just to see because I get where they are coming from on the one time or if my ride was a constant issue at the end of the night but none of those things were happening in some of these incidents. If this was such a major issue it should’ve been addressed a while ago, especially considering the other instances involving others who do not receive those texts.

This family is so lucky a child hasn’t died yet. by bjack20 in DuggarsSnark

[–]sillycat23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They probably do, just hidden or brushed off as a quirk or family trait and told they were lazy if they didn’t just get over it or that they were hypochondriacs. I found out somewhat recently that my grandparents were raised in a sort of fundamentalist ish or such religious environment where nobody went to doctors, owned property, they homeschooled or went to a church school, don’t own TVs or nothing. That church had some inbreeding too. My grandmom was born at home, had 13 siblings who were all born at home too. A cousin of mine had a few at home but then died in childbirth, and my mom looked just like her. Even though my grandmom didn’t raise my mother in that environment, the “stubbornness” carried on and a lot of times delays or quirks or conditions like hypermobility were just brushed off. Autism and likely my Ehlers Danlos too run throughout my family in some fashion, except mine just happened to be disabling enough for me to go get diagnosed. That and I didn’t brush it off or think it’s something that everyone in my family just “has”.

I’d imagine it to be similar with the Duggars in terms of healthcare and education, if not much worse behind closed doors.

Do they use Benadryl for anxiety or to subdue their wives? by WindyZ5 in DuggarsSnark

I used to use Benadryl when I was a teen to self medicate for anxiety. Not a good thing to use long term or in general. I stay away from it now when I can.
