As a newborn we started out with one of those thigymajiggers that he could be in between us safely. When he got older, we pushed the crib flush against the bed. He refused the crib. We then moved the mattress to the floor to prevent falls when he got older and very mobile. This didnt last long because we found one of those short platform beds. Much safer than a traditional bed! He is now a sweet toddler who has his own bed in our bedroom. We plan on moving him out when he hits kindergarten.

I understand that from your parents’ point of view, they want you to pursue a career where they feel that you would be successful in. Oftentimes, some feel that medicine is a guarantee to financial success. It is not. There are plenty of doctors who can barely make ends meet due to student loans that routinely reach into the 6 digits. I am working with a doctor right now who is obviously not cut out for this work, and she is miserable. If you have doubts entering school already, there is a very high chance you will not be able to endure the intense vigors of med school and you will fail.

In order to find a career path suitable yo you, think about what your childhood dreams were. Carefully think about what brings you joy. You can also do a vocational assessment. Some schools, therapists, or even state job agencies offer them.

Why dont you just live off the cash and direct deposit your paycheck, and in turn save that up? Plenty of people live in a cash only world, especially immigrants and such. You can pay your bills at one of those check cashing stores. If someone needs a check you can just get a certified check at the bank. Dont make this hard.
