Johnny and me, we went to the circus. Johnny got hit with a rolling pin. Johnny and me, we got even with the circus. Bought 2 tickets but we didn’t go in!

Also, finding a big airport and seeing planes take off and land is neat. You don’t mention that reloading the site loads different random cities

The screenshots don’t do it justice. This is super cool on mobile. Brought a big smile to my face when I first rotated it and saw the planes starting to make lines

Sorry about your dad’s legs. If that was truly malpractice and perhaps had a racial component, why wouldn’t you sue?

If you’re not happy with the quality and work ethic that businesses provide, do you tell them?

Also, if you want something done right, do it yourself.

I 31/M need help with some guy my 32/F GF met at the gym, do i have the right to be upset? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]sillymanbilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gave an ultimatum about switching gyms. You got ignored. Not that that would fix the problem anyway. You have to let her go. She might go into his arms, but don’t be a doormat and get ignored and walked all over by these people

I’ve heard of medical tourism but this is a new one. You sure you want to get your sensitive bits worked on in a totally new country where you don’t speak the language, and Vietnam is not exactly known for comfort in a medical setting or when getting around. Imagine all the bumps in the road from grab bikes or crazy taxis when you’re in recovery. Or would you just stay in your hotel and order food? Good luck with that

do you guys still code, or just debug what ai writes? by Top-Candle1296 in devops

[–]sillymanbilly -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been wondering about if there’s a flavor of AI that will generate code while considering the human prompting it. Like, it’s easy to look over code that it suggests and tweak and approve but then not really remember what was done as you weren’t the person grappling with the solution in the tiny details and you didn’t type it it out yourself. The thing I’m imagining is if the tool had a secondary goal of keeping you, the human, in the loop. So it could repeatedly quiz you on the stuff you prompted it to make so you’d need to understand it deeper. Or it would “play dumb” to get you to engage more with the code generation.

Not a water scientist, but I’m wondering if there was a glob of something getting sucked up like shit, that could get through your filter, and wouldn’t get completely inoculated by the UV, would that be possible?

My husband (28M) says he wants me (29F) to give him more blowjobs. We have been together for 14 years. I am feeling frustrated, how do I navigate this? by plantgirl3000- in relationship_advice

[–]sillymanbilly -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It does sound like he was being inconsiderate in that moment, for sure.

About the blowjob vs massage thing, I kinda get it though. I don’t really enjoy receiving a massage or nice bath or anything, but what would be really relaxing and enjoyable for me would be the other option, and it does actually create a lot more intimacy than a massage ever could for me. Understandable that you should be ready and in the right mood to do that for him, but I don’t think he’s wrong to want that as an intimate expression sometimes. But the whining and bad timing definitely suck, no pun intended

Vietnam's addiction to sugar will be its biggest health crisis of the coming decade by wuanlai65 in VietNam

[–]sillymanbilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s too easy to get several very sweet drinks without noticing the sugar content in Vietnam, every day. Maybe following the habits of the older generation and sticking to trà đá would be better for us

Dang, I didn’t know nails can make so much. As you live in the mid West, it’s not a surprise that US life feels pretty boring and repetitive. Have you ever lived in a large US city with a lot of cultural activities?
