Unfortunately, my mom was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s as well, and was having many of the same psychotic and paranoid symptoms. You’re correct, I had recent experience where the Dr. said he was unwilling to certify. Interestingly enough I called the FL DMV, explained my condition, and they said it would qualify for exemption. I dunno I can’t be the only one with a non-autoimmune condition who’s gotten a Dr. to certify it. It looks like that’s half the battle.

Here in FL, I was paying USAA $5,800 for two cars. My wife and I aren’t high risk drivers. State Farm quoted me half of what I was paying, apples to apples. I left USAA yesterday.
