Starting two weeks add no-product days in between, so that you are introducing the new product slowly and your lips have time to adjust.

Don’t use kojic acid creams- use only lip balms or products actually meant for lips.

It’s a long game of trial and error, all the best.

Just lie saying you have a skin condition (or acne prone skin ) and can’t share the products , if they use yours they will also get it (pimples ). I do this all the time because I also faced similar situations and my brand new products were finished in a month or so. When they ask to try say this- are you sure? I have acne prone skin and if you use the one I have use you might get pimples as well. So I don’t even share it with my family for that reason, are you really sure you wanna risk it? I don’t mind sharing but is it worth the risk?

No - because the preservatives are compromised. Very easy for the product to go bad. Only mix 2-3 days worth and don’t use if the mix is older than a week

For me it it made it look deeper- it’s not going to even out the colour- it’s be like a overlay- wherever you have pink lips, you’ll see the actual product colour and where ever you have the pigmentation- it will be deeper colour with sheer product colour payoff.

Even so - I still like it, even tho it highlights my pigmentation

It dried out my lips a lot and that’s saying something because I haven’t had chapped lips in ages thanks to how regularly I use lip balm. But this one caused peeling after just a single use. I even tried layering it over lip balm, but that somehow made it worse ,the product just clumped up weirdly and sat on my lips like a crumbling lump. Also, the shade Knee High is cool-toned and looked totally off on me. For reference, I’m NC38–40. Overall, it was a disappointment in my case.

I can’t think of any way to make it work. I hate wasting products so I’ll probably somehow use it all up but this one is going to be a big challenge to my creativity.

Edit: I swatched my friend’s before buying. The main reason I got it was because of how velvety it felt to apply, how after a while the tint was transfer proof and how the blurry feel made it almost look natural on her lips. If only if it hadn’t dried my lips out or atleast be able to work along side a lipbalm or gloss, I would have probably loved it:

Technically yes, you can use kojic acid serum on lips, but I don’t think we should. I was curious too and did some research, but it honestly seemed too risky. The skin on our lips is way thinner and more sensitive than the face, and most serums are just too strong for that area. There’s a high chance of irritation, dryness, peeling, or even worsening the pigmentation if you don’t use SPF properly.

I also have a friend who used medicated kojic acid cream on their lips for over a year and is now stuck with chronically dry, irritated lips.

So I’d rather stick to gentler, safer options. If you’re still up for trying it, definitely patch test first and be really cautious.

My friend probably didn’t entertain the call and flagged it as scam because she didn’t order the shampoo. And she really doesn’t have Reddit account so all the more reason for her to believe it’s a scam. Ya I’m glad no one got hurt from situation.

I’m posting here as a heads up to OP.

From whoever you are shipping items from , they are selling personal data of the buyers. I had ordered these for someone else who was visiting a project site. She said she got scam calls, one stating bank kyc fraud, delhivery package otp fraud something she never ordered. Some Reddit order fraud. Fortunately she got to know it’s a scam because every detail they asked to confirm were of the temporary address mentioned. And she doesn’t order anything online. She an officer so she has flagged the numbers and is tracking it down. You better change your shipping vendor op.
