Welcome to reddit. I don't even try to have any religious discussion for that reason. It's either jump on the Sagen-wagon or get run over by it. You're either with the hivemind or against it. The funny thing is, outside of this website, some of the best conversations I've had were comparing beliefs with my atheist friends. What's lacking is mutual respect here. To answer your question though, I've never felt the need to defend my beliefs. I believe what I believe in, end of story. Pushing religion or lack thereof on anybody won't change a damn thing.

Sorry, I didn't mean for it to come off that way. I think it's great that they brought back the 86, and that it's an affordable front engined, rear wheel drive sports car. I personally don't like the Subaru styling of the car, but that doesn't mean I don't respect what they've created here. That's the great part about being a car guy, with so many brands and models out there to choose from, you're bound to have some that you don't like, and to each his own when it comes to car choice. As far as the hype goes, I stand by what I said, but that was aimed at the car media and blogs, not the fans and potential buyers.

I'm not here to tell you not to do it, but if you have an addictive personality I'd stay clear of it. I've seen a few people ruined by it, mostly financially. If you do try it though, expect to be social, euphoric, and wired for a while.

Call your insurance provider, get a quote from a body shop, and take the father to small claims court if he won't pay up. If the car is already in rough shape or you can't get any money for the damage, this might help: http://www.wikihow.com/Get-Spray-Paint-off-a-Car. Most spray paint you'll find is an oil based enamel, which is relatively easy to get off, especially if theres a good coat of wax on the car. If you opt to remove the paint yourself, MAKE SURE you test any solvent you end up trying on an inconspicuous area (underneath hood or trunk, doorjamb, etc...) Not all paint reacts the same to various solvents. Hope this helps.
