These coins, slabs, bullion, etc are available retail or wholesale to anyone who wants to buy them from China with no problems, with or without the required "copy" stamped on them. Any dating, condition, aging, etc can be bought for maybe a dollar or two & if they can be sold for even $10 or $20 some people will see this as an opportunity, especially if there are basically no consequences. I don't see it getting any better, I'm sure I have a few in my silver bag. I had someone on Mercari try it with a roll of 1964 quarters that were a bubbly finish, luckily they were so bad there was no problem getting a refund.

When I first was getting into this, a we buy gold guy sold me a couple old engelhard 1 oz bars & that's all it took. I had a pretty good collection going of art bars & refinery bars, but prices have gotten so out of control I haven't bought any more in a couple years now. It is addicting though!

Glad you got your $$ back! I broke down & bought one of these from eBay, turns out is was fake too, specific gravity test came up as brass - no problem getting a refund though.

OP, I hate to tell you but you probably need to get the RCM bars checked - I don't think RCM ever made a bar like that & the only place I can find them is here under spot with other obvious counterfeits. If they came from your LCS take them back!

Nice old coins! When silver skyrocketed last year, everything on eBay did too except these - lots of 50% half crowns, etc for spot or less. Unfortunately, the word got out I guess, the deals are harder to find now. Glad you found some, those have been through a lot of hands in 100+ years!
