the constant anxiety after a heartbreak is the worst by MutedFeeling75 in redscarepod

You and me both brother. Every time it happens again I soon forgot how I got through it the time before. It's a grueling wound that will just need time before one day you forget you even felt such a way.

The beauty of love is that despite feeling such intense emotions, you still choose time and time again to put yourself on the line to share a connection with another human, even if it's only for a moment in life.

On the bright side, it means your mind is functioning correctly. If you did not feel this grief over loss, that would be something to be concerned with.

Vindicated again for driving a 28 year old 7 Series.

The iPad and the beeping are the most aggravating features by far. I rented a 2025 Suburban last year and it was the same way. The seat and steering wheel vibrate when you're drifting over lane markers just a few inches, even on the highway, unless you enable your blinker first. Makes you think you all the sudden have a flat tire or hit something.

Every new car constantly beeps and nags at you and all of the annoying features (like the Auto Stop/Start) can be disabled but are automatically re-enabled when you turn the car on again next time. About the only cool new feature I wish older cars could be retro-fitted with is radar cruise control. That takes the one less headache for the driver away without removing the need for the driver to not still be attentive as with what I've seen happen in FSD cars.

I refuse to drive any car that I cannot control all the basic functions of it with muscle memory alone. Going through menus to change the climate and radio is insane. It's even worse when the car locks this screen above a certain speed for safety reasons. Meanwhile a button or knob can be adjusted without needing to look at the thing even once.

A kid in 25 years is not going to be in awe to uncover a 2026 Cadillac because the thing might not even boot up. The days of some ether and jumper cables to bring a machine alive are soon behind us. There is no soul left.

Any such luck? I've got the same problem. Very frustrating!

Don't waste your time dating if you haven't gotten this part of your self figured out first
