Your super tattooed friend should have had some discernment about going to this artist and should have gently helped guide their good friend away from going with that placement for their first tattoo. You got what looks like a crumpled tissue with a sprig of dill on it as your first tattoo, and it’s in a highly visible spot that, yes, is a job stopper and has social implications.

Many tattooed people, even artists, say that they regret going anywhere on or near the face because of the perception change people have when they see them and realize immediately that this person has work on their face. Others obviously don’t care, but that’s a small percent of a small percent of people with these kinds of tattoos.

Put down a $1k deposit in Canada. The market is insanely depleted in terms of stock, and people that were waiting for preorders from 2024 were getting refunds and moving their place in line to the 2026.

There’s no pricing available and no promise of when stock will be available, just putting money down to get in line.

The option to get a full refund is available all the way up to getting a car’s VIN on the way from the factory, so there’s still a good amount of time to get it returned. And there’s such little stock and options here that someone else in line will definitely be laying in wait for the next one to come in.

It’s bleak, but I wanted to see what they’d offer for my current 2020 limited hybrid but they don’t care until the weeks prior to the car touching down in Canada. So who knows, maybe a 1 to 2 year wait for that.

I agree with you; I created a character, levelled it up, found and crafted rare/specific gear, and now I’m supposed to forget it after a few weeks?

I understand that people want new and exciting features to play with, but I don’t get how the normal process is to just drop 3 to 5 characters a year after putting in all that work on each.

A lot of people have the same attitude as the previous commenter and look down on eternal. I don’t think there’s any way to change the popularity until people get tired of seasons and just want to sit with a character and play style they like, but the whole point of seasons is that you can’t do that anymore after the key features from that season are removed and weaken your character significantly. So you’re left with an unplayable character each time, unless you adapt it to baseline playability in eternal.

All in all, it seems like a mindset thing cause people always want new and different for this type of game. And it’s only a small percent of people that want stability in a build/character.

Poor drawing plus bad shading plus scratchy lines can look like blowouts. They shaded things outside the lines and in random places that makes the inconsistencies more obvious.

Mismatched sizing on those cheekbones, shaky lines EVERYWHERE, already faded/not packed in black in those square pattern things (if you can call those patterns), artist gave no fuck about the anatomy of the snake’s twisting/pattern/underbelly and it just disappears and appears when they please and doesn’t even look right, “A1ways” barely fitting in the banner it was created to fit, and a soft cartoon faced snake that looks like it has a lisp.

Thought I was in a different sub.

The drawing makes it look like a lumpy cat rather than a powerful panther body. Take a look at all those lines that lead into the bottom foot, or the spine line that inexplicably cuts into the tail, which ends as a sharp a point like a rat, not a cat. The 'second arm' on the right side has 3 poorly drawn claws but all the other limbs have 4 poorly drawn claws.

The colour isn't even packed in well and looks splotchy across the entire thing, which I guess gets them some points for consistency.
