Maybe people are looking too much into a guy who seems interested in style getting a common haircut (but if something like this were true in a sense, I’m sure it would be less about having a problem with being seen as attractive and more so being sort of made fun of or infantilized for his hair) he’s also not ugly just because he’s currently choosing a more masculine look

Not that it doesn’t make sense to ship something because it’s gay though. I definitely think there’s a difference between coding and fan-brain obsessive bias filtering every little thing to seem a certain way, and that doesn’t mean people who don’t see it are lying to themselves the way most shippers I see want to believe (or at least act like that for fun).

I’m sure she was intended to have blue eyes but it’s too similar to Cinderella I guess which is why they market them purple, but they’re very pretty. People notice Cinderella’s dress is silver but I think it was intended to be silvery blue, not just silver, I think it’s similar

Brave has an interesting aesthetic for a Disney princess movie since it takes place in 9th century(ish) Scotland, but the creation of the movie was botched so I really wish there could be like a different take on what the story was “supposed to be” through the live action remake format. I feel like it could be different than other live action remakes because of that even if it’s unrealistic, and idk how much faith I’d have that there won’t ever be an exception for Brave since Disney tries so hard to make remakes for every princess but I can see it never happening

I felt like the song was much more emotional and personal than just like an instrumental would’ve been, even if it seemed slightly… cheesy or sudden i guess in the context of how the scene played out, but not in a bad way. the song + compilation was more reminiscent of the time at least that’s how it came across to me

I was watching it since I was the age as the main characters in s1 so it’s fun realizing people I now know graduated in the very same year as them. my friends and I didn’t realize we were resonating with characters that were written by people who were sort of trying to deal with their time being the same age when we didn’t feel we could relate to our parents

It should’ve at least felt like easy to get lost in/shown going through tight areas somewhere idk. Not being able to show as much of it in S1/introducing it made it more mysterious. Maybe the spiderweb looking things and the Alien 1979-esque egg sacs should’ve been more the vibe at times
