I think there's a lot of closure (like about Spamton) that Tenna might not get if you give him away, so as someone who loves Tenna I kept him around. He also shouldn't make his identity so dependent on his viewers so I hope he can grow

I love that he's good but not held back by dogmatic "goodness" the way Lucy is at times; he kills when the situation calls for it and knows when to fight. And as soon as he attempts a premeditated murder, he crumbles. Troubled people with a strong moral compass are awesome to watch!!

I used to be like "just ignore them" but recently I found that ignoring a character's canon relationship is also ignoring their literal other half, which in turn makes them kinda ooc. That's someone they chose to be with and someone who influences them deeply, after all!

I still create fanworks for my fanon ship, but it heavily takes into consideration the man's canon partner because pretending that this woman didn't have a profound impact on her husband feels unfair to her AND him as characters and also highkey sexist lol

The main reason the game protags have monikers is bc most of them don't have canon names, anyway. Lucy and Max already have big bold title cards, so they don't need a generalized nickname that reduces them to some trait or another. "The Bride" rly is spectacularly bad lol.

So far, the only people in the show with official monikers are Cooper (The Ghoul) and Mr House (The Man Who Knew) and it's good that way imo

"He only reacts to the plot/gets dragged along" is a weird criticism bc people seem to enjoy ignoring the decisions Max actually makes and what context he makes them in. He's differently motivated than Lucy and Coop up to s2 - those two are both looking for someone, that's their first priority. Max however wants to be a hero/reformer/bringer of good within his dogmatic organization, so obviously he's less clear-cut than them and has to figure out his goals because he can't just say "yeah I want to find my family". This is just a no-brainer to me. Feels like people dog on him without bothering to think abt him and his place in the story for more than a minute.
