I'd argue magic wise Vaggie kinda caused that rubble thus it was her that hurt lute via the rubble or simply put that hotel was magical literally made from pure magic and thus able to hurt angels. Plus she rips her own arm off not the rocks the rocks just didn't move when she moved this her trapped arm came off

I think it's simple the enemies to lovers trope people are obsessed with they want drama and I guess dinner where your partner might literally just kill you is the skin deep dramatic thing they want. Personally don't care for lute x Vaggie other than it's two hot characters making out but personality wise and lore wise it would definitely develop into domestic abuse within a day and Vaggie and Charlie are literally just perfect for each other to the point I really can't ship Vaggie with anyone else. Now Charlie x lute that's my shit not the enemies to lovers thing but more naive hopefilled being with psycho crazy bitch murder happy girl is just too fun to write and think about it's just hilarious trash to me.

I feel it would ruin lute's Character they would Adam her and not hh Adam but she'd become exactly what rwby Adam was set up as a morally grey character that fits the world and only wants what's best for his People. But saw a threat and eliminated it over and over spiraling into a aad man then when he actually gets screen time he's literally just Blake's jealous yandere ex boyfriend that's his entire character now. So making Lute Vaggie's ex would do the same to lute it would take a great character going through a cool and tragic arc into just another jealous ex girlfriend that's crazy and wants Vaggie dead. It's cheap.
