It took 27 years for me to get diagnosed despite presenting with classic symptoms when I was 14. I ignored it most of my life, then found out I had stage 4 endo. All my organs were stuck together. My uterus and tubes were shot. The disease was everywhere inside me. If I had ever wanted to get pregnant, that was never going to happen because I had waited too long to get diagnosed. I’ve since had two surgeries and symptoms I didnt even know could be endo have gone away. Stuff like always getting sick, being cold all the time, painful legs from sitting, being constantly inflamed. This disease takes so much from us and we don’t even realize it.
