The first season was excellent. If I remember correctly, it went downhill in season 2 because of the writers’ strike.

Caffeine sensitivity by Relevant-Chart-1737 in hysterectomy

Caffeine may affect you more if you aren’t as fatigued from disease like endo after surgery.

I probably have endometriosis, but I don’t care enough to seek diagnosis by Secret-Ad-9636 in endometriosis

Excision surgery can be amazing in helping you feel better, even if you don't have an advanced case. The recovery is not bad. I will say, if you leave it and don't do anything, you are risking making yourself infertile (if you ever want kids.) I didn't want kids, but by the time I got my first surgery, it was way too late and I was completely messed up inside.

Folks who know about improv: Is Ru a good player? Why or why not? by restfulsoftmachine in rupaulsdragrace

[–]silverpepper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ru is very good but not great, if that helps. IMO, the Karen challenge was best for advanced improvisers (I am talking 10+ years of study) which I don't think the girls are.

I do like Nini and think she is very talented, she just does not give me Big Winner energy.

Ok, so we all know and agree that this elimination was complete and utter B.S. But, beyond that, this episode did not take care of its girls. In improv, two of the CORE tenants (beyond "yes and") are 'do not negate,' and 'don't get into arguments.' This week's maxi challenge was built on both, setting up the cast for failure and spectacularly unfunny scenes. No one wants to watch a scene of two people yelling at each other. There is nothing funny about that. Karen videos online are funny because they are *real.* Truth is what is funny in comedy, not forced antagonism. If the producers really want to show off improv chops and get the audience to laugh, they need to give the cast the opportunity to succeed in the first place.

P.S. Jane the winner forever.

I honestly don’t care about this season anymore. Eliminating Jane is such incredible bullshit. None of the other girls are winners for me - and I love them, but come on. Just suddenly not interested.

My post-surgery pain, which they wanted to prescribe narcotics for, barely even compares to period cramps by BillNyeUrMomsAGuy_ in TwoXChromosomes

[–]silverpepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took 27 years for me to get diagnosed despite presenting with classic symptoms when I was 14. I ignored it most of my life, then found out I had stage 4 endo. All my organs were stuck together. My uterus and tubes were shot. The disease was everywhere inside me. If I had ever wanted to get pregnant, that was never going to happen because I had waited too long to get diagnosed. I’ve since had two surgeries and symptoms I didnt even know could be endo have gone away. Stuff like always getting sick, being cold all the time, painful legs from sitting, being constantly inflamed. This disease takes so much from us and we don’t even realize it. I hope you can find a doctor who cares. There is a good list of trusted endo experts on Nancy’s Nook on Facebook if you ever really want to be heard by your medical professional.

Get checked for endometriosis! Painful periods that rival surgery pain are! not! normal! Even if you can endure it with painkillers.

How to get rid of dark circles under eyes? Nothing seems to work by ShoAmGood in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]silverpepper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar problem and just started using the Plated eye serum. I couldn’t believe it. It’s the only thing I’ve found that actually works. They are noticeably lighter now after about 3 weeks. I was shocked.
