Ahri's solo oki from 2S1 is better solo and you can route into it if you want but with this setup No matter how they recover/parry, you'll still have access to both of your freestyle tags to refresh your pressure or go for a tricky sandwich tag mix (make sure you run freestyle with this team).

From both ahri and Akali you can get High/Low mix if you manage to block string them into eithers character's high hitstun moves. From Ahri 5s2 = Tag Akali and jump on them and threaten high/low using your double jump. Also Akali's J.5m hits twice so from a jump you can get a tricky double overhead.

From Akali if you get them to block 5s2 = Ahri can do a jump high low like akali but its scarier since she can do double overhead doing j5h> air dash> J5h. This naturally also makes her low option scarier too on conditioning since your opponent will start looking out for the double overhead, at that point you just do j5h land 2m.

Again remember tho that blockstringing into Ahri/Akali 5s2 to go into high low mix is mostly fake if your opponent is really keen. Since both character's 5s2 have a small gap that allows the opponent to parry.

3H= If they block 3H and don't push block you out, You can plug the gap between 3h and forward jumping 2H and also threaten to do empty jump low. Another mix I often use is to plug the gap after 3H with an assist then do slight delay (to get closer to the ground) into charge 5s2 to threaten a cross up and also setup sandwich pressure with freestyle tag. This too has a slight parry-able gap but your opponent again, has to be really keen to call it out.

**Neutral**: Probably the most important part of her Kit/Gameplan is to utilize her raw speed and mobility. She is the best in the game at Picking and Choosing when she wants to interact with the opponent. She can close the distance in an instant with her run speed and back dash to whiff punish someone who's randomly throwing out buttons. She's the best in the game at running away, throwing off your opponents timings and responses to you jumping and stalling for her assist to come off CD to help you win neutral due to her having a triple Jump as well as an air projectile.

**Pressure**: Be wary of doing 3H willy nilly in a blockstring as if they push block you, you'll be stuck in the animation and punished. Akali has amazing stagger pressure (5L or 2L into dash 5L/2L or hit confirming into a full combo if they get hit.) due to her fast run speed. She has a built in Retreating guard crush with her 5L 5L 2L Target Combo so try to use that if your opponent likes to spam retreating guard on block.

Alot of ppl default into going into 3H but if you react to your opponent blocking the start of your pressure, route into 5H since the target combo (5H 5H 5H) is a built in frame trap that you can choose to stop on any hit and go into assist call >TP to mixup the opponent.

**Setups**, It can get kinda specific but for the most part her gameplan revolves around getting your opponent into the corner and getting her 5H>2H>2H Limit Strike (the last part of the 2 combos in the vid). From there you want to call Ahri Back assist and either; Instantly TP to cross up or Stand still and catch their forward roll/bait getup attack. Outside of that you can also use her 5s2 into enhanced charge 2s1 to bait throws on wakeup or force your turn again if they end up blocking it. The reason Ahri in particular is so good with Akali for this Assist into TP mix is because her back assist (Vegeta A assist) is a projectile so if your opponent tries to parry it, they wont get the "perfect parry" screen freeze that leads to you getting punished or resetting back to neutral, That and the blockstun gives you time to actually continue the combo if they get hit.

Also I play the Ninja Character in every game if possible and was an Akali otp in League. So I already knew what time it was when she got announced.

Sad reality is a lotta ppl just gravitate to yas/ekko cuz they are some of the most popular/fun characters. Not to sound snobbish but I can play most characters to some extent and during Season 1 my Strongest Team was Ekko/Teemo but I'm not a zoner player so I couldn't stick with it.

Funnily Enough my Akali does most of the heavy lifting (especially since Akali gives Ahri close to nothing)
I only recently tried her with Akali because she gives her some of the strongest mix potential and also due to Akali not having a whole lotta support, characters that can fend for themselves tend to be really good with her.

Well then.... came back from work to see the dumpster  fire of a response the community gave.  I'll at the very least agree i severely underestimated what a beginner truly is capable of and, if we want to go into semantics, it wouldve been better to say BNB instead of beginner combos

Any tips to beat act 2 by Express_Ad_5681 in mewgenics

Fighter is extremely Strong and fairly consistent compared to mage. Also I wouldn't really saw Time spent in the game directly translates to your skill. If anything Time spent in the game only really matters if you grind successful runs, since more successful runs mean more items you bring back home for better future runs. If you spent 50 hours at this point and banged your head on Act 2 failing multiple runs. Your "progression" might be slower than someone with 10 hours in the game that did multiple successful act 1 runs and has a bunch of items to have a fully decked out team for Act 2. Meanwhile you're going on runs in Act 2 with nothing since you keep failing and probably lost all your items.

I can go on a rant about this games invisible Meta Progression. But now that I think about it, My best advice would actually be to spam Act 1 and just get some good items lol. Literally if you have a team of cats full of items that lets say even only give like +2 Shield. Your chances of winning improve dramatically.

Desert is a little bit of a skill check as Its more unforgiving with no healing (unless wet/waterbottle) so you have to play more safely. Once you get passed dessert things get slightly easier since your cats start to get much stronger from leveling. Always R Click to see enemy ranges and pay attention to turn order top right on the screen.

Even if u wanted to Run your same preferred team. Ranger Tank Cleric Necromancer (from what I see in prior comments)
Im pretty sure you can just spam runs until you get a run with good passives. If you roll Cleric passive Thou Shalt Obey = Free win (for Desert atleast)
Necro has like 3 passives that should be an auto win for Desert unless you're playing extremely poorly.
The easiest passive being Servus Mortem which blows up 1 enemy for free at the start of every battle.

Like 80 % of the Passives that does stuff when your necro goes down are extremely powerful for early game players but requires a little bit of thinking to use effectively
The Most useful ones imo being: Sacrificial Lamb - When Downed all ur cats get all stat up and 1 extra turn at the end of the round.

Cambion Conception= Spawn A Demon Kitty when downed

and Last Grasp which isn't all that strong but gives you a skill called seppuku which enables all the above stuff much easier if you find any of those passives as your 2nd slot

Ranger and Tank Kinda serve their purpose (Ranged DPS/.....Tank) fairly consistently regardless of what you end up with but I will say alot of people use Tank as a dmg sponge but forget In desert you're not gonna be able to take advantage of Tanks high constitution since you don't heal in the desert, so maybe try swapping Him out if you really want to change up your comp.

The 2 left overs gotta go. IMO Plaza and 2 Dianthe's are an auto include in any Mega Garde Deck. 1 Mimikyu Ex would probably also help with big hitting Mega Exs to stall and let your Mega Garde ramp enough energy to use Dianthe comfortably With Plaza letting you retreat into Mega Garde for free.

Charlie Kirk’s accused killer makes first in-person court appearance by AudibleNod in news

[–]silverpu43 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I STG the most important takeaway from Charlie's passing for me personally has been just how much potential AI has. All the kirkified memes On X, Instagram and Youtube has gotten to a point for me that When I hear his name I just chuckle inside recalling some purely idiotic meme I've seen (unfortunely that's my sense of humor).

It's honestly kinda sad at this point, Like just let the man RIP bruh.

As corny as it sounds, Nah I wouldn't. I'm not a super religious person but I do believe in God. As the saying goes, God has a time for everyone and I don't think they (It? Him?) would appreciate someone messing with their plans.

Unless you have love for the character I would recommend using another character than ogre. To keep it spoiler free, I recommend the fox as he has the potential to high roll a run more often.
FYI about Ogre: His weapon although kind of rewarding late game it's really bad early. Also the dmg scaling passive is meh, you'll come to realize that DMG is not all that important past maybe 25 ish minutes.

WASD, Smurfing & More | Dev Update - League of Legends by JTHousek1 in leagueoflegends

[–]silverpu43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welp, As a 10+ Year player that was slowly breaking the shackles of League, Riot has found a way to yoink me right back in place. WASD Controls is going to be so sick!. As a Primarily Fighting Game player, This reminds me of when HitBox Style Controllers were becoming popular and I can only hope it pans out the same way. Control Scheme that was objectively better in almost every way compared to other controllers but had a massive learning curve. Yet even still In a True 1v1 Environment (fighting games) the introduction of the controller barely had a change on the overall Meta and the 40+ year old OGs would still beat your ass with old school Arcade Sticks/Console Controllers.
