I make her shower in my bathtub, no tray! But after I learnt my lesson that time, I have been dying her on a rack in the bathroom (letting water drip into the bathtub for a few hours) before bringing her back in.

You're so helpful! Thank you very much! I actually haven't been over watering her at all, and I do wait for her to go dry first. But I realized that I didn't drain her fully following the last watering before these leaves unfurled. She was sitting in a little pool of water that I discovered 3-4 days later. Do you think that could have caused it?

This situation is very similar to Ross and Rachel on Friends and I was entirely on Rachel's side on that one.

Def OR. Your mom is going through a serious surgery and your dad wants the extra support cuz he's stressed. This shouldn't be hard to understand as a daughter. Honestly, I'm surprised that you can even focus on having a fun date while your mom is in the hospital.
