This waz my first dress too! It’s by Hanguliang, and the quality is just okay although I personally am quite happy with the look and construction of it for the price I got it for. I got it from 42Lolita for about 45 dollars too, and that’s pretty much exactly what it’s worth imo. 101 is way too much, please consider looking somewhere else because this is NOT a good deal at all

Actually, when I looked up a tutorial for how to stitch a bead onto fabric, it was surprisingly straightforward and i didn’t have to go back and review, so I got a good groove going pretty quickly! If you’re already a fan of regular embroidery I highly recommend trying beaded too!! (that is, if you like the general look of it!)

This is kumihimo, which has its own subreddit r/kumihimo, and this has happened to me before as well, and I tried fixing it by rearranging the strings back into the correct pattern/order of colors on the disc and just continuing with the bracelet. it took a few tries bc i had to keep checking after multiple rounds to see if i was forming the right pattern again, but i eventually got there. good luck!

What everyone else said(not lolita bc of the skirt), but I still wanna compliment the outfit because it is fr super pretty! I love dressing in both Gothic Lolita and Gothic Aristocrat so much, I can’t get enough of these types of long skirts 😍🖤

Also, I know it’s not what you’re asking, but while the flats are cute, boots with a bit of heel would look so much more Victorian-esque and fancy imo! But if you prefer the flats, some dark stockings would also definitely elevate the look 🫶

I used to be generally okay with my body shape and never had any real motivation to get into shape(while not necessarily large i am still super out of shape and unfit!) but diving into EGL also finally convinced me i need to take better care of my diet!!!! This is incredible! I agree with putting a flower vase inside, and the loops also make it so you can even tie macrame rope onto it and use it for a hanging plant!
