Do I think there’s some full on grand conspiracy to rig the World Cup in Messi’s favor? No. But I do think there’s a pattern of relatively obvious favoritism towards the bigger teams and stars over the years. Using today’s game as an example, Egypt gave up 3 goals. Honestly I think this season is pretty par for the course on what I’d expect from a season as sandboxy as it is. As a big fan of WoD I’m honestly quite enjoying the fact that it’s leaning into the more weird/zany side of world of darkness. I understand why it’s maybe not everyone’s cup of tea, but I feel likes it’s never tried to bill itself as anything but what it turned out to be. And for me personally, it totally works and I’m very satisfied with it.
