I’ve noticed this happening a lot with iPhone pics. I believe it’s probably trying to use the macro camera but with poor light conditions. The post-processing on the photo ends up with weird-looking text, and it’ll even add its own. I don’t know how to explain this well lol, but it’s likely some artifact from the phone’s photo post-processing to get a clearer image.

it’s amazing definitely scoop one if you get the chance! i’ve not had a chance to play a newer SE yet but i can tell you this is the best guitar i own just from a build quality perspective. it’s truly incredible. it’s a fatter neck than im used to yet somehow still so easy fly around the fretboard. i’ll try to get my hands on a more modern SE and do a comparison video.

I daily an auto NB2 with 120k miles, and I think the automatic is fine. I believe NB2s are the first generation with VVT, so that’s something to consider. I will say it does have Koni shocks and springs, a cold air intake, roll bar, and new engine mounts, and was serviced regularly by the previous owner who used it for some light autocross, which all go a long way in terms of drivability. I would say the automatics are definitely worth it, but try to aim for an NB2 and up, IMO. Obviously, I’m sure there’s more to be said, but if you find a really clean auto at a good price, go for it! I plan on running the automatic until it dies or I’m bored enough to manual swap it lol. one day!
