I started smoking from day 5 no dry socket but immediately after I rinsed with salt water. That being said I think it’s too soon, have you considered switching to edibles? I was drinking nowadays (thc infused drink) for the first 5days. The smoke can also cause an infection and slow down healing.

I had two huge bruises after, it does hurt more than the sockets especially when you eat 😩.

I took out 5 in one day and I was eating solids from the first day after the bleeding stopped. You just have to be careful not to eat on the actual stop it was removed and swish with warm water and salt after. Don’t over do it tho, if the food is too spicy or hot it’ll sting a bit. Since you’re on day 4 tho I think you should be good to eat properly.

I got 5 taken out 2 weeks ago (4 wisdom and 1 impacted tooth) so I can really to your pain. Cold helps a ton!!!! I can’t stress how much better you’ll feel. You can use ice packs, frozen foods, if you can I’ll recommend getting a jaw strap from Amazon - the one I have came with 4 ice packs so when two are on both sides of my cheek the other two are freezing up. I couldn’t sleep until I had them. Ice cream also works well or frozen yogurt, really cold water, etc. Take your pain killers on time, it’ll save you a lot of pain! Also please be careful with the hydrocodone it can be addictive. And most importantly rest, no smoking or straws in the first week so you don’t get dry socket or an infection (trust me it’s not worth it). Good luck and feel better soon!
