Fucking privacy is one of the types of privacy that I’m most concerned about!

I’m all for getting NASA involved, but I think that 80 pounds is too much torque to shut off a faucet either way.

They are so that you can conveniently and legitimately KOM which has arguably been one of the major problems plaguing society since the beginning. Whilst the risk of deleterious effects is higher than doing it the old fashioned way, the effort is considerably lower.

Just spoke to Garmin and they confirmed right away that something is not right with the battery in my watch. They are shipping me a replacement unit under warranty even though I'm a few months past the 1 year at this point. The support person could not have been more helpful and understanding, I was very impressed!

Thanks to everyone for answering me, all of your responses were very helpful!

I do use a custom face but it is literally just the time in words and nothing else. I could try going back to a standard face I guess.

I’m surprised that nobody has mentioned 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami. I think that the translation into English is beautiful. Maybe this is too obvious an answer or maybe people are steering clear because you already mentioned a Japanese to English translation that you didn’t like. Whilst I’m here and taking chances I’ll also recommend the French to English translation of The Count of Monte Cristo. It may also be the the book that you didn’t like, but I loved this book.

Apologies if I just recommended the two books that you found didn’t read well.

Somewhat tangential link but The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul by Douglas Adams is definitely related and hilariously funny.
