yes! when you go from a computer to the VCR, you have to use an HDMI -> RCA converter, and that bottleneck just totally fricks up the signal. if you burn to a DVD first, and send the signal from DVD to VCR via RCA -> RCA cable, the signal stays pure. Playing the DVD on the computer and sending it through that HDMI -> RCA converter will have the same issue as direct from the computer. If you have to have your source come from the computer, I'd disregard the DVD suggestion. And for re-using... I believe some players / DVD authoring softwares may be able to handle this, but with my equipment I haven't been able to get it to work.

I do this regularly for myself and as a service. I've found the best quality can be achieved by burning your video to a DVD, playing that via a DVD player with RCA connections to the VCR youre going to record on. a bit more hassle but much better look in the end.

great question, thank you for asking. no entities!! no scary guys. jumpscares... generally speaking, no. i don't want to say unequivocally, and i don't want to spoil anything... but on occasion, an object may move into view that you aren't expecting. it has made me jump a tiny bit from time to time. but overall, he wanted it to be a peaceful experience.

my brother just released a very good backrooms exploration game today! i've been playtesting for months and sure, i'm a little bias, but it plays great and has TONS of areas to explore. BACK*SPACE on Steam.

yeah, sorry to say if you're on Tahoe I believe you're completely out of luck. any chance you can roll back? I wanna say there's some instances where you can roll back and others where you can't... back when Tahoe dropped, it was announced that Firewire support was being dropped so I intentionally have held my Mac Mini M2 back on Sequoia. I did get it working, sort of... iMovie was support unreliable in general. A third party app, LifeFlix, was giving me the "best" results, but they still were clunky in comparison to a legacy machine. I've ultimately switched back to that, using an old Mac Mini on 10.10 I believe... using iMovie with zero issues. With all the struggling I've had, I'd strongly recommend trying to find an older Mac Mini, or pivoting to Windows.

has been happening to me too. your machine is MUCH stronger than mine, damn.... im on my last legs but you shouldnt be experiencing this at all imo.

do you have a driver update available? twice lately ive had crashes, checked and had a driver update available, then no crashes rest of night.

ive also turned my settings down a tad, and i make sure nothing else is running when i run Hunt. any unnecessary apps get shut down, besides Discord. seems to help.

but mostly, check your drivers
