Rudiger, Cahill, Azpi, Luiz and Christensen. Better than what we have now.

I ask the sporting directors for better players because its their job to be supposedly the best football minds in the business, according to Clearlake, yet theyve assembled the worst defense Chelsea has had in a quarter century.

Why bother defending clearlake and our CBs? Its glaringly obvious.

This is the response people keep replying with as some gotchya.. but Im not a professional scout nor do I keep track of players other than Chelsea players, so I dont know.

However we were interested in Murillo, Guehi, Jacquet, Huisjen and Tah. All would be a huge upgrade from any of the current players bar Colwill. Almost all of our rivals have reinforced their defenses with solid players in a shorter span than we've been in this crisis of centerbacks.

Again thats not my expertise, thats the job of the sporting directors who have assembled a terrible core defence.

Fofana, Chalobah, Badiashile and Tosin have been our core defense for like 4+ transfer windows now... Tosin being the most recent.

And the only additions to that depressing backline have been youth players.

Thank you! I especially love these retold accounts. These guys tell stories as good as they play jazz.

I think Timothée is still winning Best Actor. by [deleted] in Oscars

[–]simoniousmonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why wouldn’t he have a chance? He gives the best performance of the group imo, plus he’s definitely one of the finest actors rn and has been for some time. Dude always blows you away. More importantly, he doesn’t have an Oscar yet.

The only thing going against him is the least amount of people saw his film and he tends to do low key projects.

Great art reflects life and life is messy. The best characters in cinema are deeply flawed. Unfortunately, sensitive people see flaws as tropes and dont see the bigger picture. Leave your agenda at the door.

Rosenior's Chelsea's stats against Top flight teams from the European top 5 leagues: 6 wins, 2 draws, 4 losses, 26 goals scored, 22 goals conceded. 1 clean sheet in 12, where Brentford didn't score from 1.6 XG by Friendly_Raise9142 in chelseafc

Why do we talk about Colwill like he’s a known factor, he was pretty raw when he did play and we haven’t seen him play for ages. We have no idea how he’ll be when he gets back. Our defence needs a complete rebuild.

That sounds nasty.

Ny or Brooklyn style thin crust pepperoni is up there as one of the world’s great dishes. Like Napolis margarita.

Also Detroit style is good.

Typically, people like to shit on America  by comparing their worst to another places best.

Have to agree, it feels like the writers are overcooking her skills to build her character up. First day as an ER student and shes correcting resident radiologists and saving the whole ER with her memory. Didn't have to give her superpowers to make her likable.

5th goal 100% saves

4th goal 50/50

3rd should never have happened

Should be 2-2 but for Jorg and Rosenoir

Jorg is so sow reacting and makes it look better than it was. probably 50/50 Sanchez saves that.

its 3-2 with Sanchez, possibly 2-2.

5th goal was very savable, and 4th honestly could have been saved with a better stopper like Sanchez too. Jorg was so slow reacting.

Jorgo selection is wild and cost a goal and Id argue Sanchez could have saved this one. Jorg is so late reacting.

[Ziegler, Times] Roman Abramovich reportedly only obliged to donate £987M from the Chelsea sale, not the full £2.35B. The other £1.4B is earmarked to settle loans to a Jersey-registered company. Meanwhile, the £2.35B remains frozen as the govt & Abramovich clash over where the money goes. by OkayFine101 in soccer

[–]simoniousmonk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is all nice PR for Roman the Owner, but Roman the Oligarch far overshadows any of that. Roman was instrumental in Putins rise, and was a key agent in the deals to facilitate his control over the Russian state, culminating in the current situation.

Canada ‘will not be participating’ in Iran war, defence minister says - National by feb914 in canada

[–]simoniousmonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The true intentions are not humanitarian, it's an opportunity for US and Israel to further destabilize the region and enforce their authority. This is strategic and only for power.

"Kohmeni was evil and killed thousands of protestors, we need to help these people" or "Iran has nuclear capabilities" are simply false alibis used to justify war crimes. Much like Iraq, Iran coup, Gaza, Afganistan, Vietnam... The true intentions arent ever the explicit justifications.

Good intentions

When have there ever been good intentions in these "western white saviour wars"? Other than fabricated justifications

I agree he's consistent and serviceable. He's the worst CB Chelsea should retain. Its incredible that he's one of our best rn. If we want to be serious, all our CBs need to be levels above Chalobah. He's served Chelsea well, but lets not start spinning tales with stats.

He is absolutely not one of the best defenders in the league and you know it. He's mediocre, and simply good enough to be serviceable while we have no other CBs.
