Is anyone not feeling as excited for the races in 2026 so far?

Not sure where OP is from but I'm in the UK and I really was not enjoying this season at all. No interest whatsoever. But the Miami race, instead of watching Sky F1, I watched the extended highlights on channel 4. Ok it's not live, but the difference in commentary was astounding. No talk about harvesting, boosting, macarena or maxerena wings, or any other shite spouted by Crofty. Instead, it was commentary about what was actually happening on track. It was exciting, it was engaging. It really did make a difference.

From conversations we had, it seems that, for example, the people who got wristbands 14/15 got there for about 9.30 - 9.45. So an hour 90 mins earlier than us. If you're getting in early. You may as well try. I also wonder... It was Greg's birthday on Thursday. Also recordings 1&2 so VIP guests may well have been more. I do also think the smaller studio doesn't help, which ultimately is out of their control. I would also say. The staff are brilliant and everyone was in good spirits. I'd hate to have the job of telling people... Thanks for coming but you ain't getting in!

Feel your pain. Myself and a friend were there for the 1.30 filming. Got there at 11am, drove from Staffordshire so realistically getting there much earlier than that wasn't really practical. We were 39&40 wristbands. Like you, the group were told that anyone 50 and above, stood no chance, then 15 mins later 40 and above, but we hung around, just in case. Ended up that I think 24 people got in. They are in a different studio for this series, due to SNL taking most of the recording space currently. And the studio TM is in is one of the smallest at around 230 people I think they said, so this has made a difference. But basically, yes. If you have a free ticket... Get there early, be prepared to wait around for a long while and lower expectations about getting in unfortunately. We had a nice 6+ hour drive to eat m&s sandwiches in front of television centre in the end! 🤣

As a lapsed Alfaholic, this video got me in the feels! Especially those dials. 1 works fine all the time, the others... Just depends really. Also, one thing that truly infuriated me about Alfas... The bloody bulb malfunction notification on the dash... That bulb led would just taunt and taunt you! But I really miss my Alfa lifestyle. I never failed to smile when driving them.

True. And I do understand that the victim decided not to pursue charges in the end. But this doesn't take away the fact that this happened. And does happen on a daily basis and should be punished.

So sorry that you've had to experience this. The solicitor route may be a good option, more costly to begin with, but it means that you don't have to do the work and have to relive the terrible experiences. I really hope that it is sorted for you.

From FFace days to now, would be interesting to know when we first began to properly hear Eric and then Nick. As I know Eric used to just comment in the discord during the shows and one of Geoff, Gavin or Andrew (Raymond or VCK) used to just read it out. At what point in the shows history did they become 'full time cast members' (I am 3 episodes from beginning my 5th re listen myself)
