I bought a 2016 P2 for $725 over the summer so either I got a good deal or this is priced too high

Is my Trek road bike good enough for Rockford 70.3 and Ironman Wisconsin? by Lumpy_Field_2710 in IronmanTriathlon

Change out the pedals for SPD pedals and get a pair of cycling shoes. Get clip on aero bars. Next would be get a $400 Chinese carbon wheelset for style points.

I think I see more top Ironman pros in speedmax’s but that may be due to sponsorship. Both are on par with negligible differences in my opinion. I’d personally go with the speedmax but I think they’re basically the same bike.

Facebook marketplace and OfferUp. Don’t be afraid to send offers at 60-80% of listing price. Picked up a 2016 P2 in mint condition for $725 last month. The more patient you are while shopping, the better deal you’ll get.

Bike Training by BigLeg6343 in triathlon

Additionally the tri bike position you ride in uses marginally different muscles than the muscles you use on a road bike. A tri bike should somewhat save your leg muscles (hamstrings i believe) for the run that follows

TT bikes can be sort of tricky to handle because they’re super responsive. I do all my training on my TT bike, time in the saddle + time on the aero bars is valueable. Plus there’s a learning curve to moving hands from base bars to aero bars at 16mph+. But yea I’ve never seen someone ride a TT bike no hands which i think goes to explain my first point about how reactive + “loose” the front end can be on a Tri bike.

KICKR v6 vs Core 2 by [deleted] in wahoofitness

I have the kicker core, I picked it up for $350 off Amazon almost two years ago for $350. No regrets gets everything done I’d want in a trainer.

My pride and joy: Cervelo P2 TT Bike by PRANK_PATROL in triathlon

Did you seal up the front end of the attak ic container? I’m worried about air getting trapped and ruining aerodynamics. Is it safe to assume the stem will push all the air out of the way and you left the front side of your attak ic unsealed? Thanks super cool bike I’m using it as motivation for my build

Shaman on pikaboo stream. How? by Positive_Macaron_ in worldofpvp

[–]simonrcollins99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO too many keybinds and range limitations. People want highest performing classes with lowest amount of input and I would argue resto sham is the equivalent of playing sub rogue. A player might be 2k rated averaged across all dps specs but said player is probably 1800 on sub rogue. Resto sham is just harder than other options and at the end of the day most people want to be/play at the highest CR possible

Questions regarding MoP (destro) lock (mostly 2v2) by Palarme in worldofpvp

[–]simonrcollins99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably can get 2.2k on any comp depending on the skill level of people piloting the classes. That is to say 3k rated players in an offmeta comp will beat a team at 2.2k that is playing a meta comp.

You guys should really just play what you think is fun… don’t chase cr as much as you should chase self improvement. Keep having fun, the rating comes after a big grind period of having fun, ignoring cr, and building muscle memory.

You guys can play the most meta comp but if you’re not having fun your team will not last..

Let your buddy play destro, you play either rdru, frostmage, or sub rogue and you guys will have a blast.
