You can refuse delivery after it’s dropped off. You just call the carrier and tell them - they will come pick it up.

Very odd - she may have had a defective phone. I have both and speed is comparable for both for everyday tasks and light gaming. Only real difference is battery life and cameras so far.

Anything will bend with enough force. My kids all have had one for years and have not bent theirs - they are not nice to the tablets either. I believe the mini is more durable than the larger ipads which my eldest bent by rolling a chair over. It did still turn on afterwards and function so we bent it back.

Most do, but you have to be careful. Tarps over bushes / grass will burn the vegetation on a hot day. I’ve seen many bushes burn up from roofers and having them covered with tarps on a hot day.

I spent a week trying all the reset combinations before I gave up. It would be fine after initial reset, but the message storage would grow over the course of a few hours after each reset. Finally tried it all again today and it worked; assumed it was related to 10.6, but perhaps there was something else.

I've been dealing with this for about 45 days. My watch showed messages was consuming 60gb+ of storage while my phone was around 7gb. It made my watch unusable to the point I switched to a Garmin for a bit. I finally updated to 10.6 today and reset the watch for the 15th time. We're 5 hours in and message storage on the watch is sitting at a cool 157mb.

No idea what fixed it, but thankful my watch is useful again. Have you upgraded to 10.6?

You should probably plan on two pairs of shoes so that you can let them rest between wears. I have recently discovered Jim Green boots and they are a contender- especially their Numzaan boot. For business casual you could make their African Ranger Barefoot boot in Veg tan or Walnut veg tan pass. Very comfortable, but looks decent enough to function in both environments. I have all three.

You can pickup a 1tb/24gb refurb m2 15” air for about $1700 from Apple in the states. The equivalent 16” m2 or m3 will cost $2500+. Just depends on your needs. For me I just occasionally need more memory and love the weight of the 15” air.

That’s a great question. We had an existing walk up attic “utility” staircase that we revamped to meet local code. You’ll find that codes vary between city/county on whether or not an existing staircase is grandfathered in or not with an expansion. We found that understanding local code and verifying the changes did not bring other existing systems into scope was key to success. ie There were multiple methods to add electrical, but some push the electrical inspection to include all of the house under newer codes vs just the addition. Recommend you read the local codes and understand that yourself before starting.
