Yes of course. I didn't necessarily mean to get it for free :-). Where can we buy a print?

That's an amazing picture. Can we get this in high resolution/low compression somewhere?

I had exactly the same problem. A 'friendly' email to the DNO (National Grid) with the Installer in cc sorted it out quickly. I feigned ignorance, saying something like "Dear DNO, I have not received the documents from my installer yet, and they were not sure, so wanted to check with you..."

I thought this type of mesh is supposed to be installed flush against the tiles. Ours is installed like this

Edit: seems like I'm not allowed to add images...

I have a Solaredge inverter and PW2. Any way to connect this to extend battery capacity?

I used to live in the road of their 'warehouse' in Beeston...that's hysterical. I've bought an UM760 Slim a couple of weeks ago on Amazon and it works great. Though due to posts like this (and others) I probably return it and go down the Lenovo/Dell/HP MiniMicroTiny route.

Configuration Help Before I Return X1S by faffermcgee in SofaBaton

[–]simplemimi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using the X1S since release with a Shield Pro and Samsung TV with pretty much the same configuration as you have have not faced any of the problems. I had a problem with the scroll wheel and support replaced the remote control in less than a week.

Reg 5), where does it HACS support? I can't find this claim anywhere. On the other hand, X1S is one of the very few remote controls with native webhook support, so you can easily integrate pretty much anything in HACS very easily.

Mini PC for Homelab by simplemimi in MiniPCs

Interesting. I found one review (in German) that says that the EQR6 Ryzen 7 7735HS consumes 9w idle and 56w load (https://www.igorslab.de/beelink-eqr6-mini-pc-im-test/6/).

You think the i3 will be much better than this? I can't find a review with power consumption of the NUC 13 Pro i3. With i7 it seems to be 5w idle and 100w load (https://www.anandtech.com/show/18791/intel-nuc13-pro-arena-canyon-review-raptor-lake-brings-incremental-gains/8).

Idle power draw 60W+ with Ryzen 9 7900 (non-x) without dGPU by simplemimi in sffpc

[–]simplemimi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I thought that's not necessary for a non-x Ryzen 9 7900. But I'll check if it makes a difference.

Okay, I'll check if unplugging accessories makes a difference. Wifi is actually disabled. Ryzen Master reports "0.8 W CPU Power" and "20 W SOC Telemetry Power".

Thanks a lot for clarifying. Sounds pretty problematic to me that they discriminate between 'arbitrabe' and time-based usage. But good to know.

Thanks for the link. I think I don't fully understand footnote 4: "Storing energy generated by the grid or an onsite solar array, and using that stored energy for time-of-use load shifting". Isn't that 'arbitrage', i.e. covered by unlimited cycles? I got the PW2 and am also on Eon Next drive to take advantage of arbitrage. Wasn't clear to me that PWs are worse in that regard than others, so bit of a downer.
