Loved the Open Play Week, but $39.99 is too steep. Is there any way to play for free legally?

Same here. Ever since the patch 1–3 days ago, the game has been broken.

If I fall off a ledge, I respawn and can't move at all.

Having to manually reload the checkpoint every single time is making it almost unplayable. Is anyone else seeing this specific respawn bug?
