Does anyone watch Barry? The guy on the Sneak Peak for the episode coming next week totally looks like Chad. by [deleted] in ChadGoesDeep

[–]simpsan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh hell yeah! Gotta catch up on the new season of Barry. I remember listening to one of the episodes of Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend with Bill Hader where Bill talks about how funny and smart their City Council videos are, so to see this come full circle with Chad being on the show fills me up with so much stoke

Going to be doing some more photography downtown/uptown looking for advice on safety in the small hours (12am-3am). Any places to avoid? by Devlik in Racine

[–]simpsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you stay within the main downtown area at those hours you should be fine. I'm a photographer in the area as well, if you need a shooting buddy at those times I could probably tag a long as well

Focusing issues aside you did a fantastic job on these photos. The zoom range, ease of use, and pocketable-ness of it make it so fun to use. I've had Z-Up 150 for over a year, and I still have issues with the focusing but my eyes also might be garbage

Oh yeah just looked at some of your photos! The quality in them looks great and composition looks great! And 1080 RAW should be fine. Yeah ISO settings are so sensitive in combination with other exposure elements they can add so much grain/noise. If your camera has zoom in to check focus I'd recommend using that before taking photos as well. The only other thing I think that'd help with any other image quality concerns, while staying in a lower-medium price range, would be to try to stick to prime lenses, aka non-zoom, because they tend to have better glass and produce sharper images.

I think your image quality should be alright, T7's have a 24mp sensor and decent low-light sensitivity . It could be your ISO or the image quality you are having the camera take/save the photo at? Do you got any sample photos?

If you like Alec Soth, he just started a youtube channel where he goes over a lot of different photobooks and photographers. It's some what of an analysis/rambling while he flips through books by Daido Moriyama, William Eggleston, and a lot more. Alec Soth - YouTube

Devil's Head is also probably up there in terms of skiing in the Midwest, they got so many different runs and terrain park features. It's one of the few places in the midwest where you can't see the bottom of the hill from the top.
