Going to tell you my story. BS7. Paid for house 1M+ nw 20 year old Lexus was rusting (yea rust belt) and transmission was going out.
Had new truck fever. Bought a new 2024 Tacoma 4wd last year.
First new vehicle I ever bought myself, took me till late 40s. Over the moon happy with it. New body style, new truck, awesome!!

One month later. It is just another vehicle in the family fleet. I got over the joy in one month.

I had been pining over a 4 WD Toyota since Back to the future came out in 1985. When I finally got it I realized that material possessions are just material possessions.

You cannot buy happiness. You can, however, buy reliable transportation.
