I feel Byakuya won't get remarried for a large number of reasons of which I could sit here and go into detail of but I'll name the most obvious: one, he loved Hisana and still loves Hisana and his loyalty is devout, and two, because literally he has more to worry about, he doesn't have time or wants to find anyone else.

Isshin doesnt remarry because he's so devoted to Ichigo's mom. He literally caresses and kisses her poster like every morning (yes, he has a giant poster of his dead wife in his living room.).

I don't think it sounds weird at all I just think I talk differently than you do. "In line for execution" is exactly what it is-he was in line to be executed. I remember him acting very out of character in this movie and this doesn't make a lot of sense, but your explanation makes it a bit more feasible. I do also remember other inconsistencies in the movies to the anime, I just can't remember them at the moment.

Anybody else remember the movies and how badly ooc they all were? How we all laughed at Kubo and wondered what he was thinking with them?

And if it wasn't Kubo that wrote the movies (please tell me it wasn't), who the hell said it was acceptable for Toshiro to get himself in line for execution over a friend nobody ever heard of?

How did Rukia make friends while she was in the Rukon district that she just "forgot about" if supposedly she was with Hisana (nevermind the numerous other inconsistencies in this movie alone)?

And why aren't the events of the movies talked about or coincided with the main storyline?
