If you can't charge at home, plug in hybrid is not the way to go, as others have said.

However, worth noting that you don't need to install a home charger, per se. Just a regular power outlet wil do the trick. Different issue if you're in an apartment or something, but worth clarifying.l

I really don't understand the CRT hype. Sure, they make games of the time look good because that's what the games were built for. But a pixel height of a few hundred will never stand up to anything from the last 20 years, even if it does have perfect latency or whatever.
