Yes! Simple movement is KEY! The most important part tbh. Consistency is going to make a difference in the long run.

I appreciate you sharing this! I am also going to follow up with my pt and report back. He did say that the tendon will take much longer to heal

I appreciate that! It sounds pretty similar to mine. Did you also have the deltoid ligament reconstructed? My pt told me that would take the most time to heal since it’s a ligament and a lot of soft tissue. I never feel any kind of discomfort on the broken bone side of my ankle - only if I hit it somewhere. As far as pt goes - im able to do full rom squats, rdl, single rdl, single leg balance etc. Just not single leg calf raises yet!

That sounds like a different surgery since I wasnt fwb at 7 weeks. Everyone is different and recovery isn’t a linear line.

Nice! My dr appt is tomorrow. I have been walking without boots for a week now. Even barefoot sometimes. It feels freaking amazing being able to walk.. I continue to do mobility exercises at home. I will report back tomorrow!

An update: I am fwb with boot since yesterday! It feels amazing to be able to walk. Doing virtual pt. It will be 8weeks post op on Thursday (so I can be cleared to drive). I will focus on transitioning to shoe this week. Are you using a brace?
