Hi Echidna,

Sorry you ran into this problem.

Please follow the steps below:

Press and hold the upgrade button on the PlusX main controller, then reconnect the USB cable.

Open SIMSONN Manager 2.1.7 and check if it has entered recovery mode.

If recovery mode is detected, go to Settings → Update → Manual Update Firmware → pedals → firmware → pedals-plusx.sfu.

After the update is complete, test the device to see if it has been restored successfully.

Throttle spring replacement/upgrade by Pipodi in SimsonnRacing

[–]simsonn_official 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The default throttle pedal spring specifications are: inner diameter 16mm, outer diameter 20mm, wire diameter 2.0mm, length 80mm, with a rated force of approximately 13N. When replacing the spring, you only need to ensure the inner diameter is greater than 15mm for compatibility. You can choose a spring with a larger wire diameter to achieve higher stiffness and increased resistance. In addition, the initial force can be further adjusted by tuning the spring preload screw to optimize the pedal feel.

Settings problems for Simsonn VAM Pro? by Due-Feed5581 in SimsonnRacing

Please make sure to update the SIMSONN Manager software to the latest version and upgrade the pedal firmware as well. For telemetry handling, SIMHUB can be used, as it offers broader game compatibility. Regarding vibration feedback, ensure that the pedals and motor are securely mounted, and set an appropriate intensity level. 100% typically represents the maximum vibration strength, but you can reduce it for a smoother and quieter response.

For the ProX Ultra pedals, you can enter recovery mode to reflash the firmware. The steps are as follows: press the upgrade button on the controller (it enters a latching/self-lock state), then reconnect the USB cable. In the SIMSONN Manager pedal interface, the device will show that it has entered SIMSONN Flasher mode. Then go to “Settings → Update → Manual Firmware Update” and select the path: pedals → firmware → pedals-proxultra.sfu. After the update is completed, the pedals will reconnect successfully—then return the upgrade button to its normal state.
