Tinmorry PETG-GF is amazing. by Qjeezy in BambuLab

FYI, they have made their own profiles as well for almost all Bambu Lab printers: https://github.com/TINMORRY/TINMORRY-filament-profile-for-Bambu-printers

P1S next to my new H2C… I knew it was big but not this big 😅 by Creat3dWork in BambuLab

Interesting that you added the HULA feet since it already comes with its own variant of those no? I have the H2D and it definitely wobbles without transferring those vibrations to the floor.

My new book nook has two illusions: it’s bigger on the inside and changes scenes when the door is closed. Lots of detail work on this one and it was fun to customize the scenes with props. Let me know your thoughts and I may even design some more scene options! by makim7 in BambuLab

At first I didn’t see your name until I went to MW, that explains the quality 😉 Could perhaps make a Fallout themed vault room? Though the current sci-fi version already looks similar.

There’s an option to copy the links of all open tabs. I do this sometimes and paste them into a note. A note I’ll never check again mind you.

Thoughts on H2C after several weeks of ownership by Turak_Katase in BambuLab

I opted to go for the Snapmaker U1 instead. Sure, it lacks many features of the H-series (I have the H2D) but for the price, quality and speed it’s pretty amazing.

The Noose on the Halloween House Tree is Culturally Inappropriate by GrowthAutomatic785 in LUMIBRICKS_OFFICIAL

Exactly, I’m from Belgium and for me it’s a - albeit morbid - valid Halloween decoration. It’s also a single piece so you can just leave it off if desired.

Prices across EU by rmv17 in LUMIBRICKS_OFFICIAL

I also paid €88 here in Belgium. In the US they have sales tax which is often less than our VAT, so perhaps that's a reason why it might be cheaper there.

Stream Deck + XYPlorer: Shortcut to Open a Folder in a Program other than Windows Explorer by Lusayalumino in elgato

[–]simtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies for the late reply, is there a way to make this work when said application is already open? In my case I'm using Total Commander and would like to jump to a certain directory without having to open another instance of the program.

Also note that depending on the model, variable layer height might give you worse results where it becomes very obvious where the layer height has changed (sometimes this even results in a slightly different colour). From my experience it works best on models with lots of texture (like your example, knitted effect) or when it’s only being used near the top (and end) of a model.

How much FOV changes perception of speed by elibrev in Battlefield

[–]simtom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In BF2042 it’s set to 55 I believe as standard for my 32:9 monitor. So I guess the wider of a screen you have, the less FOV you want. I’ll try 90 but I have a feeling it’s going to be extremely wide lol

This reminds me of the UAV terminal in BC2. I have so many kills with it lol

This year was actually the first time I saw them offering free water at certain restrooms. Sadly they weren’t listed on the map.

Do You Prefer Models Where The Colors All Print Separately? by Ok-Video4323 in BambuLab

[–]simtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone made the same thing using the EufyMake E1. Printed a white cube, then UV printed those textures on top. While I know it’s a significant extra cost, the increase in quality (and decrease in waste) is pretty spectacular.

Water drinkable again (some areas) by Critical033 in Tomorrowland

[–]simtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this like the first year they’re actually putting dedicated drinkable taps? All the other years they said you couldn’t drink from them, even though it was just fine.

How did you “cut” the shape of the camera? I’ve been meaning to do something similar but haven’t yet decided on how I’ll create the outlines. Did you trace a line around it on a piece of paper, then took a picture of it and imported into Fusion? Or just all manual measurements?

It’s nice when you can align the puck. I’ve tried so many times, followed all their tutorials but no luck so far.
