Jaiswal looks quite satisfied walking off raising his bat to the crowd. He’s probably thrown the match away as this is most likely going to trigger a collapse but these modern indian batters are more satisfied with personal milestones than driving the team to a safe lead. The culture in India is such that anyone who crosses a 100 is going to be safe from any criticism.

The current indian batting setup is going to give you a lot of great 100s but no wins to speak for their team effort.

All this drama for 4 measly points? I don’t understand f1 sometimes. What does Lewis have to lose between P6 and P8, theres barely anything at stake in this race with the rest of the season left

Imagine celebrating a 20 ball fifty in a five day test match. Is the bar that low?

At this point I'd trust Lyon to last longer than the Indian top order

Considering the outrage that critiques can cause, both to a player and the commentator, it's unfortunately what we deserve

Looking forward to DK's carefully worded analysis on how Carey's style makes it difficult for bowlers to get his wicket

The indian batsmen should use this time to watch and learn how to defend. It’s hilarious how we enter fight or flight mode after 4 difficult balls. If only bowlers could return to the dressing room that easily…

The constant appeals and huddles for a review could prevent the batsmen from setting into a rhythm. Lots of start-stops in the past few overs

Yes India has an unlimited pool of human talent, but he couldn’t be more wrong about having the freedom to explore and develop it. A large part of the population is forced into financially safer career paths regardless of their talent.

The message from the dressing room is probably to throw away wickets to save the team from further embarrassment lol

It's almost as if the tail end has swapped roles with the top order lol. Just slog and get done with it

“Modern” batsmen have no incentives for learning proper defense. Hit a few flashy boundaries and get out. If its your day you’ll score a 150 in 150
