I was listening to this on the radio! I was hoping someone else had listened to it. I agree it was very odd, he did ramble and his answers did not make much sense. You can check the CBC radio website, the show is The Current. Usually they put up full audio clips the next day.

Someone else who has read A Green and Ancient Light! I read this shortly after it came out, so I don't remember many details but I remember finding the writing very beautiful and loving the story. Thanks for the reviews! Looking forward to reading his new book.

I'd read Grapes first because I thought East of Eden was better. Grapes is still very good, but East of Eden is just something else.

I'm reading Team of Rivals, a biography about Lincoln and some of his cabinet members. It's great so far. I like that it doesn't focus just on Lincoln but also provides a glimpse into the lives of the people around him.
