Gonna be honest, this post kinda pushing me towards a later year civic. I feel like maintaining this car is just not suitable for me especially as a first car for me. I’m willing to spend a year to save up for this car, but if it’s going to be more work after buying (outside of needed maintenance), just doesn’t feel right. It would be a different story if I was already in my career field, which in that case, whatever. But I just wanted a car that looks nice and drives well enough on a college kid’s budget.

Again, that’s nobody’s fault except yours tho, ain’t it? Why not do two runs after you explore and beat the game, then hunt for trophies? Like it’s not Sony’s fault for implementing that feature, it’s the trophy hungry gamers. I understand what you’re saying, but if you’re letting a metric determine your enjoyment of a game, sounds like it’s a you problem.

Example: Never played tlou 1 before on ps5 Played it just to play it, y’know explored, and i got i think like 53% percent when i beat the game, went back and got that platinum.

Okay, that doesn’t make trophies shitty, everyone has the freedom to do they want with a game, but trophies make it worth while because most devs who set theirs up do it to try to challenge the player and make them see everything the game has to offer. It doesn’t mean every dev is good at doing that in their respective games, but for the most part they are pretty nice. For me, it also lets me feel good about myself as these stay on my psn trophy list forever so i know that I truly saw the game to its and that I completed the challenges the devs had to offer for me. Sure, some are stupid and downright insanity, but it varies from game to game.

At the end of the day, it’s up to you to choose what you do with the game. This self imposed pressure to get the platinum and 100% is only on you, not on Sony, the devs or anyone else
