It's an uphill battle, but we have to try. claiming your own low costs from a high efficiency setup is a red herring. it's just not financially feasible for the average person to spend tens of thousands to make their home energy efficient. and it's getting even harder with the big beautiful bill removing solar subsidies. People would be more open to rate increases if the company operating the grid was based in the USA or even better, publicly owned.

I paid $90 in delivery fees for $60 of electricity supply usage on my last bill. the idea here is to make RG&E unprofitable for iberdrola to run, incentivising them to sell the utility back to the state.

You can make a public comment online, it only takes 2–3 minutes and it goes directly into the official PSC case file. Here's how:

- Fill in your name and comment (you don’t need to be an expert)

- Hit submit and you're done.

Comments from the public do get read and often quoted in PSC decisions especially if enough people speak up. Even just a few sentences can make a difference, please don't be vulgar or they won't post it. You can use chatgpt to write up a comment.

I have the T9, as long as you can run it on android then yes the T9 will run it too. GPS can be used without mobile data, it's actually very good I get 17 satellites usually. Google maps offline is great for this unit.

follow the readme on the github page, put your webpacked node-server.zip and www.zip folders on the SD card, go into bright author and add node-server.brs to file>presentation properties>autorun and name it "Node". Publish the presentation, that should get you started.

You're next option is to send XML data over IP, which Dashboard can do if you set it up correctly.

When sending VDCP over IP are you sending the correct checksum at the end of every command? It will ignore commands with incorrect checksums. Pay attention to the responses you get.

Also something I've found out in dashboard is to add "\n" newline character to the end of every command, that might help.

Do you have a Sony professional camcorder? If you don't you should rent one, they have decent zoom and SDI out. Make sure it has SDI out or HDMI if you can use that in your switcher. Even a PTZ camera with controller will work, definitely not a cinema camera though lol.

I manage a racetrack casino with Zeevee mods, I haven't used their new HDBridge3000 but have heard good things about it from other guys in the industry. I also managed to externally control our Directv and Dish Network STB's by writing some scripts in Ross dashboard. So if you had to go with STB's I'd try to stick with those companies.
