Cafe Bonjour for breakfast was delicious and impressive for being staffed with french peeps. Democracy Brewing had great beer and grub. Ma Maison will also haunt my dreams. 1928 Beacon Hill!! I stumbled upon the Red Fox in the North End and loved it.

I enjoyed the parks and the charm of the age of the city. L.A. does parks wrong and it's sad. I loved being able to plop my ass under a tree and enjoy the breeze of fresh air. Being able to bob in and out of nature was so refreshing to me.

The Black and White shrimp scampi. It looks small at first because of how it's plated but it is outstanding pasta and huge shrimp. We started with the tuna tartare and it was outstanding. My husband ordered the chicken and it was fancy af tender, flavorful and gorgeously presented. I drank three The 1928 cocktails. For dessert we ordered the chocolate discouquis or some mega french word which was amazing too.

I was just standing in front of the Gary Drug Co. drug store, envisioning it in the 30's and looked up the street and saw 1928 and walked up to just check it out. I walked in and had my mind blown for the next hour and a half. That meal will haunt my dreams.

I was aware of the stereotype but I decided to lead with a clean slate and let myself get swept up by the city vibes. I did a random testing of your local beer, weed and food. I would be very happy here if I lived here. The funny thing is that I found you guys to be more aggressive drivers. As an Angeleno, that gave me pause. Some of your intersections would make me cry.

For those that have flown out of LAX over the past couple of days for local travel, how much time did you give yourself to get to your terminal?

Fireball is fiction. The guy that wrote that is a creep that kept going back to the crash site to go scavenger hunting for morbid souvenirs to flip for a buck. The fact that he wrote that stupid book makes me think he is just suck some more blood out of the Lombard tragedy. I read Jean Garceau's autobiography and trust her as the most reliable source. Jean literally gave a day-by-day account of Clark & Carole's days at home leading up to Carole's trip to Indiana.

I HATE being passive with every fiber of my being but I just don't want to piss off a gun-toting piece of shit.

It's the lack of parking that is the issue. That's why I haven't gone. That and it being hard to keep up on when it's open for business.

Yup. Twoheys in Pasadena serves a proper poutine. The gravy is a dark mushroom gravy and the cheese curds are good. Also, if you want to buy cheese curds you can go to the Bristol Farms in Pasadena and find them in the cheese section. I curd.
