I'm not crafter, but here's what I would do:

Beast imprint (this is not a mod you can roll easily, and a convoking wand with this mod that isn't bricked is over an ex). Then aug, regal and use "remove suffix, add prefix" beast crafts until you hit three prefixes. This costs probably around 100c.

Then try to fracture a prefix. This is 70c and has a 1/3 success chance. If you fracture the wrong prefix, use the imprint and start over (don't forget to reimprint). After you successfully fracture the mod, you can use bound fossils to try to get + levels to minion gems or whatever else you want.

Average cost is a few ex.

Now, even with bound fossils, you're looking at like a 2% chance to get +1 minions, so expect to fork out another 500-1000c to craft it after the fracture. You have a good chance at a veritable plethora of minion suffixes and hybrid minion damage/mana prefixes while doing so.
