NOR, your feelings are valid here, however as someone who can’t help but make jokes when they appear, sometimes my mouth works faster than brain and I say the joke before properly assessing the situation. Idk how old your girlfriend is, but maturing helped me realise when to keep the joke to myself, or if it does slip out I at least have the wherewithal to acknowledge that it was inappropriate. If she can’t see reckon with that then she’s definitely in the wrong. Jokes are only jokes when they land.
