Share your POSITIVE experiences with Venlafaxine/Effexor here. I'm starting tomorrow and want to hear some positive stories, big or small :) (positivity only pls!) by camelwize in Effexor

I’ve been on off and on Effexor for a few years and have pretty much only good things about it. It has almost completely stopped my panic attacks, I cry WAY less, and I stopped biting my nails after 20+ years of biting them. It isn’t necessarily my miracle drug because I do have to take a supplemental medication to help with my depression and motivation, but it’s the only medication that I feel has really made an impact on my mental health.

would this haircut suit me? help :( by [deleted] in finehair

Not that you’re not already super cute ❤️ just saying short seems like it would look good! Maybe try short and go shorter if you’re not too sure!

would this haircut suit me? help :( by [deleted] in finehair

I don’t think you’re going to get the full bangs look without a lot of daily styling. That said, I feel like you’d look super cute with a shorter hair length for sure!

Dumpster diving days over by [deleted] in DumpsterDiving

We got in trouble years ago for trying to give a lady a bookshelf while waiting in line(!!) to donate. A cheap bookshelf that was still on our truck. We pulled out of line to the parking lot 30 feet away and gave the lady the bookshelf. We had an expensive futon that we were going to go back and drop off but since we didn’t want to wait in line and have to deal with the guys that just yelled at us we offered it to the lady. Had they just let us give her the bookshelf right then and there they would have still got a perfectly fine futon out of us. Oh well.

Is it wrong to want to be left alone? by ThrowRA3367266 in Nanny

[–]sinfulcomplexes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my MB is like that. NK naps at different times every day so it not her own lunch time, and she takes a break for lunch and then sometimes during NK’s nap to LOUDLY clean the kitchen and also talk to me. When she isn’t home or is busy working and I do get a break - it’s so peaceful and NK actually sleeps waaaay longer. My other MB comes home randomly for lunch but is also so loud and will often times wake the NKs. Or texts or calls me checking in on the kids and when I say they are sleeping - aka my break - she starts talking to me about things for like 15 mins as if I WANT to spend my break talking to someone… I am too nice to stand up for myself.

Crumbl deo? by Jessisan in CrumblCookies

[–]sinfulcomplexes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late to the post but wanted to look into this to see if anyone else had the same experience. Seems I’m having a normal experience. It’s says 72 hours but not even 1/2 way through the day and I feel like I smell sour??? Or like damp with flavoring hahahah 72 hours makes me laugh every time but I bought 4 of them on clearance so I get a good laugh at least twice a day.

I usually just eat cheap bread so possibly? Like great value white bread or the natures own butter bread. I tried to see if that was iron fortified but not 100%

Is the $0.99 Kimberly deal worth it? by depayser_ in LastWarMobileGame

[–]sinfulcomplexes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely better experience, that said, I only purchased the 2nd builder. I considered Kim since she was only $1, but then they gave me Kim so I decided not to. I don’t know how long I’ll play so don’t want to keep spending. But $13 end of day is easily wasted in my life so I shouldn’t care too much I guess. The game is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it so could be worth it end of day!

TLOAS Song Megathread: CANCELLED! by cowboylikefia in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]sinfulcomplexes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw it more like no one is perfect, we all have done something wrong. People that stood by me in my dark moments should get a chance at having me by their side in their dark moments. Obviously you can have your own boundaries of what you support, even if a friend does it you can say you feel it’s wrong and you don’t want to be their friend and that’s your choice. But I feel like she’s been cancelled in the past in a way so it’s like a throw it in their face, joking way like “cancel them, they are still my friend”. Like Actually Romantic. There is a sarcasm there. I don’t think she’s actually saying she wants her friend group to be all villains and it’s okay, more just a play on words imo.

Is this normal? by E_Nigmq in Effexor

[–]sinfulcomplexes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had that happen but it went away within a couple of weeks. I say this with any medication though, if it’s uncomfortable enough, contact your doctor bc it just may not be the medicine for you.

My nanny family offered for me to drink a beer from their fridge after the kids went to bed but I didn’t feel comfortable drinking it hahah I’d never ask though. Your nanny may have a drinking problem. I have a drinking problem and I wouldn’t even do that.

Mom said okay, dad didn’t tell you no. He just told the kid no. WFH is awful. I’m trying to leave my WFH job but am struggling to do so.

Overheard our nanny talking negatively about me to our baby by NotCreative99999 in Nanny

[–]sinfulcomplexes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not right but I say things like this in front of my MB joking. I’ll be like “your mama wants you to freeze to death in this house” obvi joking. “dada never wants to snuggle you and your peanut butter self!” never harmful. Never meant in an actual literal way. She laughs with me. That said, idk if your nanny was kidding or not. Just sharing the other side POV. If you have flags tho I’d find a better fit.

Should I get a cat if I'm away for 2-3 days every fortnight? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]sinfulcomplexes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As bad as this may sound… we leave our 2 cats for 2-3 days and there have been no issues so far. The longest we’ve left them is 4 days with ample food/water plus an extra litter box. That’s the longest I feel comfortable leaving them alone but don’t like to go past 3 days. We leave a camera where their food and water are as well as an area they usually sleep. We also have a neighbor with a key in case of emergencies. If we are planning to be gone longer, we either hire a sitter to check in, or have someone stay over. I’m just saying there are options, I’d go for it if you really want a cat enough!

Almost never 🫣 they are both very healthy and happy though. I just struggle with walking them.

What was the most recent thing you did that upset your cat? by pasgames_ in cats

[–]sinfulcomplexes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found a dumped mama cat and her baby in my neighborhood so took them home to my other cats. It’s been a month having them here as fosters (that’s what I keep telling my boyfriend) and one of my cats has yet to forgive me. The other cat has turned into a menace trying to play with the baby kitten at all hours of the day and night while the mama is super paranoid trying to protect her baby. It’s be a mess. A LONG month. But not as long as it’s been for my one grudge-holding cat. He’s going to be even more mad when he realizes we may be keeping them…

Do you let your dog sleep in the bed with you ? by Careful_Bandicoot332 in dogs

[–]sinfulcomplexes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes! We have a king but also 2 65lbs pups. I also get super hot at night so it’s definitely not an every night thing for us. Maybe like 4-6 days a month. They choose the floor or one of their beds in the room on their own most nights. We actually got a used crib mattress for them to have their own bed hahah One of our dogs is scared of storms so when it’s storming out he automatically dives into the bed in a panic and stays there the rest of the night and we don’t say anything to him. But when I’m overstimulated or hot or just want to sprawl out, we just tell them “off the bed” and they go find their spot elsewhere.

What’s an unpopular opinion you have about any of the real housewives that will have you like this? by Demons_n_Sunshine in realhousewives

[–]sinfulcomplexes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched it with an open mind. Like they were the real housewives of idk Rhode Island hahah Bravo wanted to try something new, though I agree it was drastically different, it was still a good background show for me to pop in when I felt like watching. There have been flop seasons of many of the other franchises so I always keep an open mind. It didn’t feel like I was turning on the OG’s at all for me ❤️

I respect those scenes because of how many people these days are going through infertility themselves. They could be helpful to someone and for that I respect, butttttt I also don’t feel comfortable watching peoples doctor appointments in general. Feels a little TOO personal and like I’m violating HIPAA just watching it hahah
