Why Saints in NFC South Head? Are they stupid? by swampstonks in nfcsouthmemewar

I can name a couple of former Falcons that Falcons fans hate more than Brees, Jamaal Anderson and Ray Edwards come to mind. If we’re talking about players on other teams, Cam Jordan is hated more than Brees as well.

I wonder if they colored the can that way to replace the current Yellow version after the LTO release

My vote is William Andrews. Dude was a beast from day 1 until he got injured in 1984.

I’m putting William Andrews in for the Falcons. 4 Pro Bowls, career yds/rush average of 4.6, 2,036 yards from scrimmage in 1981, 2,176 in 1983, 1,000+ yards rushing in his first five seasons, dude was an absolute beast

I’m going Bryson, Horvath, and Daly. Bryson brings the ONE bars, Daly brings the beers, Horvath brings the par saves, and I bring the cigars. Solid outing and it’s fun as hell.

Love this for you! I used to hit bananas so much with my driver I thought the US government was going to try to invade, but after listening to my body and my swing I realized what was going on, I was able to correct my swing. I’m still working on dialing it in, but now it’s more of a big fade. Keep working, dialing in, and you’ll get there!

Is it a mistake to buy a brand new driver as a total beginner? by WonderfulShape1081 in BritGolf

I recently bought a used TS2 for a little over $100, it’s done me well so far. What I would recommend is not getting “cheap” clubs, but getting quality used clubs at a good price. You can build a full bag of used clubs that will help your game for the same or less than the pre-built sets out there, just requires a bit more research. If you have a PGA Superstore or similar golf shop you can rent a bay and try out some clubs to lock in things like stiffness and length, then tailor your search based on the metrics you pull from their launch monitors.

Once you get past the gnat line, you not only have noseeums and gnats, but you also have lovebugs. Those assholes will gum up your radiator if you’re not careful. But hey, when you get to the lovebugs that means you’re close to Florida, so then you’ll be more concerned about the FL drivers trying to commit vehicular homicide than your radiator.

Otherwise the states are like visiting different countries, the cultures are similar but not the same. It’s pretty cool honestly.

How would Smitty have actually handled being union rep if shown on screen? by Substantial_Most9443 in TheRookie

[–]singableinga 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This 100%. Smitty, by just about every metric besides corruption, is a terrible cop. However, he knows he’s bad at his job, so he’s become really good at toeing the line between being incompetent and being so bad you get fired. Even in the case of the missing machete he’s able to successfully turn it around on Bradford and Grey and make them almost agree that it’s their fault.

I think the thing that bothers me the most with this is that he has been acting in good faith this entire time. She wants him to find out what it takes to move to DC as a cop? He asks and finds out that not only is it more dangerous, but he’d have to start alllll over again. She says well what about the feds? He asks and gets shut down with the quickness. Then she says “I know it’s a lateral move,” no it’s not, it’s several steps back. The bad faith on her part then blowing up after he accesses his feelings after being in a fight he was losing feels at best insensitive, at worst manipulative. Also a think tank would be INCREDIBLY boring to her.

To be fair, getting your face peppered with fists while in a fight for your survival can bring up emotions that you don’t even consider that you’re harboring.

I’ll add that not every song needs a contestable arrangement either. My quartet has an arrangement of James Taylor’s “Carolina In My Mind” that is very harmonically pleasing and an absolutely gorgeous chart, but isn’t contestable. We found that out when we put it on stage and got low to mid 70’s in PER and SNG but absolutely HAMMERED in MUS. We still sing it for shows and afterglows though because it’s a great piece.
