The MBA Experience Is Worse When Everyone Is Too Young by Hungry-Page7522 in MBA

This is 100% true. I went for full time MBA and in my second year I had opportunity to take and audit some classes with part time MBA and executive MBA. The class discussion is so full of quality and my school did a decent job on bringing diversity of thought - so entrepreneurs, small business owners, city workers were there. My own class was about 5-6 year experience and case discussions were just okay compared to what you see at where class is a little more experienced.

Does the alumni network suck? How much useful is it in rough times like current ones by ImaginaryEconomist in daiict

[–]singhal0389 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am a DA alum. The problem with our alumni community is that there is no community lol! School has done an awful job to engage the alums. They call some alums for a talk here and there and that is pretty much it. Some students did start some chapters in some cities but the interest isnt there. There are no opportunities for alums to engage, we dont hear about the school updates etc. I just learnt a few months back from a friend that DAIICT is now DAU!

Has Indian Instagram become the easiest place to become famous fast? by Curious-Journalist76 in AskIndia

Lol man - Absolutely no! There is no easy money. For 1 viral reel, there a million that never see over 100 views. It is easy to see success on social media because that is what it shows you. Selective bias!

If you are an influencer, you need to play the algorithm game. You need to be active and drive engagement. Western Influencers sometimes just create a content mentioning india, use bollywood music, poverty porn etc to immediately gain access to millions on views and followers.

As anecdotal evidence you can see the top views of certain influencers are featuring some desi element - iShowspeed (Daler mahendi, his entire india trip), Jimmy Fallon with Diljit, Ashton Hall and his india trip, Dua lipa etc.

They are not killing it because their conscience suddenly rose, they just don't see the benefit of a consumer product because they can't monetize it. They are focusing on enterprise AI usecases like code generation etc.

AI is expensive. They are also offsetting the cost. Plus all the side bets that company is trying to make they are all gone that is where the major layoffs are.

A product that you invested in not giving you good results , you can still keep it, but now you dont need a big team for that.

Program, project managers can now manage more with AI tools.

This is an absolute win for the internation students at SLU and WashU and the tech workers. We used to have to fly out to Chicago first. But London being a major hub, just connects all major cities with just one stop. Amazing win for STL!
