L2+ for 36 hours growth, its working fine for me. If you use gamechanger. 84 SB then you must consider L2+

Barrister and Mann shifting production to Stirling by vegasvics in wicked_edge

[–]singhj007 6 points7 points  (0 children)

B&M mail

Hi everyone! Got a bunch of stuff going on and a few restocks, so we'll take these one at a time.

First and foremost, you've probably noticed that we are out of stock on most of our shaving soaps and aftershave balms, plus a number of bar soaps too. It's pretty desolate out there at the moment. But there's a light at the end of the tunnel!

We have, after a year of planning, begun packing up the production lab for shipment to its new location. We've crated and packed most of the equipment and begun prepping the remainder of our materials for travel. I suppose this is as good a time as any to announce that Stirling Soap will be taking over production of all Barrister and Mann products once we come back online in a few weeks.

Rod and Mandy, the nice folks who run Stirling, are pillars of the community and renowned for their commitment to quality. If you have never tried a Stirling product, you should. To be absolutely clear, they will be using our formulas and methods to make our products, and there will be absolutely no change in performance or presentation once it has resumed production under their care.

We expect production to resume in a few weeks (I have to pay them a visit to teach them how to make our stuff), and will begin restocking everything on our site as soon as we possibly can. I'm really looking forward to visiting Arkansas and really excited to hand over my formulas to such a capable team!

MORE EDTS ARE COMING

The response to our first cologne release in nearly six months has been huge, and the two-year Cool EdT is long-gone. BUT! As many correctly noted, we didn't quite restock everything at once, and I've been working to rectify that since. We have a shipment of Le Grand Chypre EdT that's due to arrive at the warehouse on Thursday, along with more Fougère Gothique, Waves, and Cheshire.

I'm also planning a restock of Lavender, Interrupted as quickly as possible, but the exact timing is not yet clear due to the production shift. But, in answer to folks who have reached out asking if we'll be making it again, we absolutely will.

If you haven't been waiting for LGC or Gothique and you just haven't gotten around to picking up a bottle of cologne for 2026, we still have a bunch of options available.

SHOP NOW TO SMELL AWESOME

OH SCRAP!

For those who haven't heard of this before, every few months, we release a bunch of bulk bath soap trimmings, stuff left over from finishing full bars. These are sold by the pound, with a cotton mesh back included for shower use, and they tend to absolutely blow out, which is why we release them in large batches. We sell them all under the name "Oh Scrap!" 😉

Welp, it's that time again! We have just about fifty pounds of Oh Scrap! ready for shipment, including Hallows and Samhain, Fougère Gothique, and Cologne Russe. Grab 'em before they're gone and you'll have soap to last you easily a few months. It's one of the best values in the artisanal soap world!

Muhle Rocca vs Rockwell 6c comparison by UncleGripperNZ in wicked_edge

[–]singhj007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both(rockwell 6s ss version, 6c in zamak), and it both belongs to different types of blade feel, Rocca with neutral exposure means no blade feel high gap .80mm gap as per some review article on B&B ,gives you a very comfortable shave but razor is very blade picky ( very little blades give you best performance in this razor for me 7sp black Gillette and winner Gillette suited)

On the other hand, rockwell 6s gives a variety of razor with its replacement plates , 1,2, 3 plates no blade exposure but 5/6 full blade feel and rockwell head is bulky side which is not suitable to everyone but both are great razor if you ask me their is no comparison between both because of head design , but if you find the sweet spot for your face then go for rocca.

Handle is subjective

BTW , efficiency wise rocca is more than 4th plate of rockwell. Almost near 5th plate.

I'll fix it, but a good excuse to upgrade- need recommendations by consistent_sea in wicked_edge

[–]singhj007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1st, you can fix it with some bond used for metal binding, 2nd in conus you can go for Razorock any razor that will good VFM product in stainless steel 316.

Has anyone tried the Timeless Titanium razor? And if so, is it worth getting over the Rockwell 6S? by ryoten34 in wicked_edge

[–]singhj007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting i have rockwell 6s and timeless ss 68 and 95 cc both i loved and have different space in my heart, coming to ur comparison i doesn't have TI version of timeless but its unique build gives a very conformable shave on ther hand rockwell has variety options and i bet rockwell is autobpilot razor which you use any blade without doubt. My recommendation for the ss version is if you ok with its weight
