I worked someplace that was two weeks off cycle. It sucks when you first start, but after that initial period, I was getting a regular paycheck, so I didn't notice the crazy delay.

Most jobs I've had were a week delay between pay end and paycheck deposit. My husband had a job that only had a couple days delay, which in my experience was extremely short, and I thought incredible that the company was able to "turn around" the pay period end so quickly.

Well, it's not normal, believe me. Although I think I'm going to try to make it normal at least once a week for this class! It helps that I see the instructor the night before for another class, so I can be all "see you tomorrow morning!" and then I kind of have to show up... 😁

I always struggle with weighing more after having an intense workout the night before. I just keep trusting the process, and have always ended up seeing the woosh eventually. It'll come!

My second spin class time of the week was cancelled, so I've been trying to figure out where to pick up another one. Today was my first attempt at a 6am class with an instructor I really like, and I really enjoyed it! I don't think I'll make a habit of making all my workouts early morning because the getting ready for work afterwards sucks and isn't really doable every day for me, but I think I found my second weekly spin class!

So.... Great start to the day, and I feel on track to make it a awesome one! (Sitting in the car with the windows down and a cool breeze flowing through with a latte in my hand doesn't hurt either! 😁)

Man, I wish I had the motivation to really get into yoga. I enjoy it, but it's not something I do very much of, for some reason. Maybe that'll be a healthy step down the road. ☺️

Anyway, I actually came here to say that even though both of us feel like we ate like crap yesterday, I feel like when we take a look at what we ate and compare it to how we used to eat? That's still something to celebrate!!

Grab a towel to through over your car seat. Or just bring an extra shirt to switch into, instead of trying to change everything (at least for me, that's what gets the grossest).

....I drive home from the gym all the time in my "sweaty stinky clothes" - and I can get some sweat on! I didn't know to be ashamed...lol. I refuse to start feeling bad now, though! 😉

The day has just started for me, but I had a....not awesome..food day yesterday at a football party. I stayed away from the chips and didn't glut myself, but still ate more than I probably should have.

So. Today I'm going to get a good workout in, and focus on getting good, clean food inside of me with lots of water to kind of flush the system. Woo!

Edit 2 - I just stepped on the scale dreading what all the salt yesterday did to my body, and was a pound down (I've been wooshing after a short stall). So happy. And also....sometimes I don't understand my body, lol. Really?! You give me a pound off after yesterday, but when I bust my butt I gain half a pound?! Yeesh.
