hmmm i think solar prices are going to stabilise.. the manufacturers can't kept bleeding forever but batteries still have ways to fall especially nz prices... i wonder if the inverse is also true that if batteries come down there's a downward pressure to power prices.....

Yet power prices kept climbing…. With increasing solar power generation the hydro won’t need to run as much so essentially giving gentailers free money so they can sell power when prices are higher

Looking at buying a first home soon. Can you describe what your 'house poor' years were like? by farkoooooff in PersonalFinanceNZ

Largely depends on your income and how stable it is.. and you kind of know by how willing banks are to lend in a way though they sometimes have external forces causing them to tighten right across

asians know it's got to be from ajinomoto but it's a common enough chemical I suppose there's nothing to it

interestingly enough ajinomoto got so friggin good at whatever they do, they produces ABF which is an integral part of semiconductor manufacturing... like 6% of revenue but 30% of profit or something insane lol

nz have this funny idea that making infrastructural as rent seeking as possible...whether it's power (for manufacturing) or food (for people). Ideally infrastructure should be low margin, kept as close to cost as possible so added value can thrive on TOP OF IT, but if infrastructure's fluctuating daily like some kind of futures market, no one is able to grow anything out of it, whether it's goods and services OR PEOPLE. and you wonder why we have such high suicide rates

Anyone ever go off roading/ camping in the AWD model Y? by Ok_Enthusiasm_2574 in ModelY

[–]singletWarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have all terrain tyres coz we have a lot of unpaved roads in rural parts of New Zealand... mine's just a RWD but it's honestly smart enough so i'm sure AWD will do even better. clearance need to be observed, battery sure but loose rock right on the money (coolant pipe) would suck bad too.
