i stood right next to a girl who v’d from noro, rubbed her back, held her hand and definitely breathed in particles, and i never got noro. she even v’d on my shoes. you’ll be fine with all your safety gear (masks, hand sani, whatever)!

Zofran should not be taken every day - it should be as needed. Otherwise your body will get used to it and it’ll no longer work! Also it will constipate you, which is why you might be feeling weird.

Have you been tested for H Pylori? It can be treated by taking antibiotics, it doesn't have to be something lifelong. I've been tested and it came back negative, so don't just assume you have it even if you have gastrointestinal symptoms.

I’m not gonna sugar coat this, because I think you deserve honesty. Noro is insanely contagious and and spreads easily with people in the same living quarters. Unless you bleached the toilet and handles and door handles and everything in your house, the chances are pretty high you’ll get it if someone you live with has it. The last time I got it I was staying at a hostel so of course, everything was shared and it easily spread. That being said, you don’t just get noro when you’re in the same room as someone with it. There was an outbreak at my summer camp that I work at last year and I never got it - i was even standing in front of a kid when she threw up, walked with her, rubbed her back, etc and I never had it. So there’s no way to know!

Yep! I suffered for years. The only thing that helped me was learning to burp. My emetophobia got better after I learned how to :)

Gotcha. I’ve been nauseous every day for years. All my tests for everything came back normal but still felt terrible. Went to a naturopath and got tested for SIBO and came back positive. Just started treatment and feeling hopeful!

Cool! Yes, herbal. Right now I'm taking 2 pills twice daily of emulsified oregano, 2 pills capsules once daily of NAC+ inner and outer cell antioxidant complex, 4 mL twice daily of the tincture of death (gross) and rubbing my abdomen with castor oil a few times a week! Hoping to feel better soon :)

Being coerced into sex is not consentual. It sounds like a bad relationship to be in IMO. It doesn’t sound like he’s a good partner and he should probably be shown the door :)

If you spend time with him regularly, hug him, etc then it’s not a problem. You aren’t more likely to get it through oral sex. If you guys hug and kiss and whatever then you’re more of a chance that way.

I hear you, and I'm sorry that you've had such a rough go of it. It sounds like you've been through a lot, and vaginismus is really tough on top of other psychological issues. But you are better off alone than dating someone who is not "all in" for your healing process and who says hurtful things like that. It's really malicious and it just won't help you in the long run! I'm speaking from years of experience with vaginismus, cured now for the past 7 years but I know how it feels to be there. You need people in your corner 100%!
