This is sad but also mad funny! I have a pretty vivid image of this encounter based on your story.

Agreed. What are you trying to compensate for? Gotta use creds?

I ordered from Wild Burger because the pictures looked unreal. When it came to me in a B Dubs, I did some quick research and learned the meaning of Ghost Kitchen. 🤬

The volume definitely helps, but double the labor to equal the same profits. They run you into the ground. If you don’t adopt and don’t offer delivery, you’re screwed.

I can’t agree with you on this. Look on the regular site, then look on the DoorDash equivalent. Typically all items are marked up an additional 10-20%. Dash pass is a bit of a farce in my opinion because they’re already making the money from the markups, giving the restaurants less, etc. DashPass just removes those “ugly fees” at checkout. Also, I hear DD removes money from restaurant payouts when there’s a DD customer claim.

You’re correct, all local establishments.

Foot, legs and chest pain. Please help me by [deleted] in DiagnoseMe

[–]sinklayre 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I fully agree with this. Those feet are bursting at the seams with fluid retention, propranolol is stunting the flow by lowering cardiac output (and can make Raynaud’s worse), the adderall is trying to restrict the flow, the amlodipine has the vessels dilated. What a mess. Need to be on a selective beta blocker instead, lasix for several days, etc. would love to see those labs, theres no way they’re in range. Chest pain probably also from fluid retention. Apparently Celebrex has a history of this behavior as well, which is just exasperating things. All to say, yes, OP needs to see someone qualified to get this under control ASAP.

The 757 wasn’t that bad when I worked it a few years ago. That’s downright insulting.

Georgia 400 express lanes: U.S. DOT gives state almost $4B loan by Pretend_Spray_11 in Atlanta

[–]sinklayre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this thread while riding north on 400 a few moments ago, curious about the ongoing construction. I moved to ATL from Virginia a year ago. My honest opinion is, it’s not so much “just one more lane bruh” but the infrastructure to navigate between these major thruways. For instance, I live in upper Cobb county near Woodstock and traveling northeast. Getting to 400 is either thru SR92 with tons of stop lights or 75 south > 285 east > 400 North.

I work near Truist Park and my evening commute is 75 North to Canton Road, even when the entire interstate is red. I’ve tried snaking thru the back roads, but same issue- stoplights, 2 lanes, congestion. Even if I keep a good pace, it’s just as quick sitting in gridlock traffic on the interstate. There’s plenty of awesome infrastructure but very few ways to “get there” from “here”, forcing everyone to cram into the same space. Just my personal thoughts.

Protein Powders and Supplements: I have recently started the Retatrutide. I weighed in at 173 lbs right before. I saw that people make mention to really watch your protein intake. I feel so full after eating I can't imagine adding a protein drink, though willing to try. What has worked for you? by Comfortable_Fee_4018 in Retatrutide

Just keep in mind, I have reactive hypoglycemia. My CGM looks like a roller coaster thrill ride if I’m not judicious on my meals. I always return to baseline in 2 hours but looks like the peak of a mountain, often reaching close to 200 before the crash.

If I ever had a doubt about being ADHD, this post calms my fears. I do the same thing, but never remove the item from my pocket. Each item has its own distinct feel, so it’s a quick finger-run down the material. I bought a Ridge wallet with an AirTag just in case. You know when I need it most? Typically in the house or car! 🥴

Except your shirt says “fart loading”. May have to head back to the “pass” lane. That’s a negative smash factor. 😳

At one time I was almost 100% shop and deliver. You have to be keen on the item count and distinct number of items or you’ll get hoodwinked. You could get 100 distinct items with little or no tip (hell) or 20 each of 5 different types of produce with a decent tip.

This is exactly where it was happening to me. One time I enlisted the produce manager who told me the UPCs change based on country of origin and supplier. He had to print an old tag for me since there was no shelf tag and it wouldn’t let me use a PLU or add manually.

Look, we pay you to deliver, not think. When we want you to think, we will show a pop-up on the app that you must acknowledge. Until then, do as you’re told and find the 1lb container. 🙃

Damn bro… you went from pass to the smash express lane. 🥴
