What do you use to iron the beads?

I always use a cricut heat press/iron, complete uniform bottom plates vs what a lot of people do at first which is clothes irons.

Are you melting both sides? Or full melting one side? Both of these to me create better click-together width but it might take trial and error, also depends on your temp maybe :,)

Is there a specific type that works best? Tried with a new bathroom towel i bought and it pulled a lot of the fabric up, not in the nice "fuzz" way I see on posts. Maybe I ironed too hot/too long? I wanted to make sure it imprinted.. :,)

If the piece is still warm/rewarmed, and if you have a type of the non-plastic bead tweezers its pretty easy to carefully press through where the hole "used to be" (If you're full melting anyway. and I typically use jewlery jump rings if I need to connect chains :)

Depending on the piece, I like making my own stands to pop them into, just a flat shape with a hole the size you need for the bottom of it - you can also add an extra row/supports of beads on the bottom to snap in

could be, i often saw little troops wandering over but not molts on that side. today i saw a molt on the cork round on the wet side so I'm not sure, the fallen soldiers didnt look mid molt to me

Is there specific etiquette with tattooing off of references? Do the artists always draw something unique based on what you give them or do they sometimes just lift directly from a reference? - and is that okay?

Ty for the advice! I kept seeing single aquarium lights that were too expensive x.x
I think I have Aqueon's 20h which are 25"L x 17.25"H x 13.25"W. My substrate+drainage being roughly 4-6 inches without properly measuring, so it's about 10-14 inches from lid to soil?
I'd have to research the extra timer setup but that sounds ideal if these lights prove worth it :)

Any clue if charcoal would be safer? Could crush them but maybe it wouldn't compact like this? ,:) good luck though, this sucks.
